Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Houston? This 3 story house on the Galveston bay offers all the amenities you can expect, spectacular views of the sunset, easy access to the bay, kayaking, fishing, access to boat ramp or just relaxing downstairs on the hammock. Many activities await you on the Strand or the Seawall for both adults and kids as well.

This spacious two bedrooms/two full baths vacation home in Galveston West End is the perfect vacation retreat for you and your family. Beautifully furnished with antiques found in local shops on the island and fully equipped with linens and kitchen utensils. All you need to bring is your bathing suit, toothbrush, and binoculars (for the bird watchers) or your fishing poles. Master bedroom is very large with one king bed and one full size bed. Second bedroom has a queen size bed. Queen sleeper sofa in the Living-room. 

Both bedrooms have large private balconies to relax in the morning when you wake up or need privacy. Balcony on the Master Bedroom has unique view of the sea as well as the bay.

This layout is ideal for families, young kids or couples vacationing together. This house can easily accommodate 8 to 10 people. Outside, the tranquility continues with 360 degree views of the bay. The neighborhood fishing pier is a few feet away or you can walk down to the bay for the ever popular night fishing. Boat ramp access is available within walking distance and beach access is only a 10 min walk away or a 5 min ride by car/golf cart. House also has two kayaks available for use. Sunset views are spectacular from the balcony, a great way to end the day.

Very large balcony can accommodate 15-20 people for relaxation.

Wireless internet is available. Three TVs & two DVD players. Washer & Dryer available. House is fully fenced in for young kids. BBQ available downstairs. Large relaxing area downstairs. Outdoor shower. Two kayaks. Hammocks, lounge chairs. NO PETS ALLOWED & NO SMOKING PLEASE.

No large Parties allowed. 10 people allowed in the house maximum at all time.

House is right on the bay with incredible view of the sunset, far away from the busy Seawall blvd. House is just a short walk from the beach: 10 min walking or 2 min driving. Very close to the boat launch into the canal as well as the fishing pier. Excellent location for fishing and boating. 3 TVs, wireless internet access, cooking utensils, kitchen fully equipped, linens, King size bed, Queen size bed, Full size bed and Queen sleeper sofa. Brand new mattresses, brand new furniture, many antiques, blowup mattresses available as well.

Beautiful house

This was a beautiful property, ideal for a relaxing getaway. It is very large, and was perfectly comfortable for our group - six of us for a girl's weekend / bachelorette party.
We did a lot of our own cooking and found all the cooking & grilling tools we needed were provided. One nice bonus of the house was the incredibly large upstairs bathroom, perfect for a house full of ladies. It was also nice that a Roku with Netflix was available for lazy down time when the weather wasn't ideal for sitting out on the beach. I appreciated the home owner's prompt return of the house deposit as well :)

My only notes about the house are 1) be mindful that paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels) were not included and required a special trip. We had bought all of our groceries on the way in and had to go back out for these. 2) the house is located a bit of a distance from the town, so no pizza delivery!!

Our stay was everything that we had hoped for and expected at the property. It was clean, beds were comfortable and everything was in order. Fishing was a little tough but the house was exactly what we needed after a long day on the water!!

The Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I brought my two sons here this summer and I honestly have nothing but good things to say! I am a bit of a germaphobe to say the least and I usually despise staying in rentals and/or hotels. This beach rental was VERY clean, cozy, and spacious. I felt at home. The view is amazing. My children would walk down to the bay in the evening and catch hermit crabs, frogs, big crabs, ect. and I could watch them from the huge deck. It is in a quite neighborhood on the outskirts of town which was nice . The neighbors are super friendly. The rental has netflix so at night when its time to unwind there are lots of movies to choose from. Our agent, William, was SO helpful and informative... anytime we had a question he always responded quickly. The pictures do not do this rental justice...we definitely plan on visiting again:) Thank you for this amazing experience!

Beautiful home

My best friend and I rented this house to get together with our families (4adult & 4children) for a few days.
The house is gorgeous, looks like a home from a magazine. The kitchen has everything you could need and grill downstairs made cooking easy. The linens and towels are provided which is one less thing to pack and the internet and on demand movies were a bonus. I loved sitting on porch drinking coffee letting kids play.
The bay is a 2 minute walk and has a nice sandy area for kids to play in, discover large hermit crabs, and fish (husbands enjoyed). The beach is basically a 3-4 minute drive out of the neighborhood and across the street. Beach area is nice with plenty of room to set up for the day without feeling crowded. We loved it, the water was clear enough to see schools of fish swim by and we saw two groups of dolphins swimming by.

Excellent Vacation Rental !!!

Our stay at this house was fantastic !!! House is beautifully decorated and so well appointed. My family & I had a such a good time and we will certainly go back next year. Beach is very close by and very easy to access. Ideal for young families as the yard is all fenced in. You have access to the bay, the beach, fishing, etc. The Owner was very helpful and made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable !!
