The apartment is located on the first floor of the Palazzo Bellini delle Stelle with roof overhead, only a 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and Piazza della Repubblica.

This beautiful Palazzo was built in the 16th Century by Cosimo 1st the Medici and it was also the laboratory of the sculptor Giambologna from 1600 to 1608.

The apartment has now been restructured to its Renaissance splendour and is available to rent for weekly or longer periods. It's composed of a completely frescoed salon sitting more than 15 people, a dining room, modern kitchen , a master bedroom and a second twin bedded room.

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful flat over the Easter holidays with our 2 daughters. The girls felt like princesses staying in a castle! The large salone was great for our Easter egg hunt! The location was spot on! One could easily walk to all the major tourist attractions, great restaurants, supermarkets, and quiet in the evening! There is also a small play park near by which was very handy for our us. Guilio was away on business but he assisted us with our internet problem and his daughter Rosella was also on hand if we needed anything. We had a great stay!!!

Great Place to Stay

If you come to Florence, you HAVE to stay here. Beautiful/stunning apartment with a GREAT location. Giulio and his daughter Rosella were wondeful hosts. I lost my wallet upon arriving and Rosella stayed with us for two hours while we sorted things out. They were always available throughout our stay to help or assist. We stayed here with our three young children and they LOVED the apartment too. Location is superb to explore the city -- easy to get anywhere especially with the little ones. Kitchen is perfect with everything you need. We hope to come back to experience it again during the summer/fall. THANK YOU!

Outstanding apartment in a great location

My wife and I along with our two cousins stayed in this wonderful apartment for a month in October. We found it to be as described with accurate photos and descriptions, very clean and well maintained. The pictures show the large size of the beautiful rooms and even though the place was grand, it felt like home.
The beautiful living room has a 16th century frescoed ceiling, an up-to-date high end kitchen, two large bedrooms, internet access, phone, TV.

The owner, Giulio, was very personable and helpful, pointing out the near-by Market of Sant’Ambrogio where fresh fruit and vegetables are delivered every day, wonderful restaurants like Gilda’s Bistro, shops and everything we needed for our home away.
He was like having family in Florence.

The location is in the heart of all to see in this beautiful city. We walked everywhere- the Duomo, Uffizi, Academia and San Lorenzo street market.

I highly recommend this apartment for a vacation in Florence.

Amazing apartment in the heart of Florence

My family and I (me, husband, mother, 3yr old son, and 1yr old daughter) stayed in this beautiful place this past August. The description is very accurate, and the photos are current. We were all very comfortable in there without being on top of each other.

The apartment has a very large, comfortable, and kid friendly living room. The master bedroom is also very large. We had space for two cribs with room to spare. The guest bedroom is large and comfortable as well. The mattresses are very comfortable (not an easy thing to find in vacation rentals).

The owner, Giulio, is super friendly. Him and his family are readily available for whatever you need (including amazing restaurant recommendations). La Giostra, an amazing and famous restaurant, is a 2min walk from this place.

The location is perfect. You do not need a car when you stay there. It's only a few blocks away from a grocery store, a pharmacy, and a nice square with good restaurants. We walked everywhere; The Duomo, The Academia, Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, etc... I totally recommend this place!!!!
