HARBORSIDE VICTORIAN - STEPS TO THAMES ST. RESTAURANTS & WATERFRONT

We absolutley thoroughly enjoyed this charming home. Everything was lovely. I must say the location in particular was the hugest bonus. We were able to do alot of walking locally up and down Thames St to the lovely shops and restaurants. Combine that with the comfort and cleanliness of the accommodations and we couldnt have been happier. Quiet and private. The fresh ocean breeze was a constant pleasure. The owners were wonderful to work with, HIghly recommend.....would go again in a heartbeat.

Stayed for a week in April after the Holiday. The Cottage is comfortable, well appointed with all the amenities of home. It is finely furnished. It's a historic rental, centrally located and within short walking distance of fine dining, shopping, sightseeing and harbor facilities. Also, a few blocks away are the famous sightseeing Mansions of the Gilded Age and a short distance away is Ocean Drive roadway circling the Newport Island with breathtaking panoramas of the Atlantic Ocean for walking, running or bicycling. The beaches are a five minute drive from the Cottage. A short distance from the beaches is the Newport Seaside National Wildlife Refugee. A great place to view migrating birds and native waterfowl of Rhode Island's seashore

We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the rental for anyone looking for a memorable getaway on a beautiful part of the East Coast. You will not be disappointed! pmd

We've rented several houses/condos over the past 7 years and this house ranks among the best! It's in a great location - you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable and has everything you need to make you feel at home. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitley consider renting here again next year!
