Classic Spanish style duplex building with separate dwellings upstairs and downstairs. This rental is for the upstairs unit. Features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a large private balcony overlooking the area as well as the spacious back patio and garden below. The lower back patio is communal with the downstairs unit and features a relaxing fountain set amongst beautiful tropical plants and flowers. It is located centrally in the village of old La Jolla, blocks from Prospect Place and it's numerous shops and fine restaurants as well as the La Jolla Cove and the famous Cave shop. Space for up to 2 cars to park, but you could get away without driving at all since the grocery store, dining, shopping, and the beach are all so close. Entertainment, attractions, and activities in La Jolla include The Comedy Store, snorkeling & scuba diving, bike & ocean kayak tours, surfing lessons, Scripps Aquarium, Torrey Pines Golf Course, The Beach & Tennis Club, and the La Jolla Playhouse.

Both upstairs and downstairs units each have own separate entrances and access to their own separate private parking space secured by a garage door. Inside features include a large flat screen HD TV with cable, WiFi internet, King size bed, full kitchen, desk, and living room and dining area. Plenty of private out door space that is great for entertaining or just for enjoying your rest and relaxation in 'The Jewel' of America's finest city.

Wonderful La Jolla Getaway!

We had a great stay in La Jolla thanks to Blaine and Veronica who have a charming rental in the heart of the Village. The unit was nicely appointed and had enough space for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. There was space to park two cars and laundry on site. Blaine and Veronica were attentive to our every need and promptly addressed any need that arose. The rear patio balcony was perfect for soaking up some sun and looking out over the neighborhood and even had a peek view of the ocean. The location is excellent, close to everything San Diego has to offer, and is within a couple of minutes walk to downtown La Jolla Village which has a great selection of restaurants, shops, nightlife, and attractions. The Post Office and grocery store were a short walk away. The ocean, beaches, and cove are just a few minutes walk. All and all a great experience that we will always remember!
