One of a kind beautiful cottage (apartment and garage) on 100 feet of private stunning lakefront on gorgeous Mullett Lake in Northern Michigan. The modern apartment is above an over-sized garage. The apartment boasts huge lakeside windows for a view that makes you feel like you are in the treetops. The apartment has one large bedroom and ceramic tiled shower, kitchen and living room with gas fireplace, Andersen windows, Pergo floors and carpet, and skylights. It is a modern, comfortable, impeccably clean and well-appointed. New central air conditioning, and new exterior paint. The cottage is situated on the east side of Mullett Lake, half way between Indian River and Cheboygan (about 10-15 minutes to each). Mullett is part of the Inland Waterway, a chain of lakes connecting Lake Huron to Lake Michigan and is Michigan's 3rd largest. Sleeps 6.

Lakeside features a dock and hoist for a 3,500 lb boat. There is also a firepit by the lake and a patio outside of the apartment with a picnic table and adirondack chairs. Needle Point subdivision is an upscale neighborhood that includes million-dollar year round homes. Needle Point year-round access road and is great for walking, jogging, biking, etc. This is a 100 foot lot with plenty of privacy and quiet. Lots in the subdivision are large, unlike many parts of the lake with small houses and lots all crammed together. This property features beauty, quiet, space, privacy, handy location and convenience.

What a Great Vacation!!!

We had a GREAT TIME!!!! The weather couldn't have been better - location was great and it worked out really well for the 5 of us (Gramma, Grampa, 13, 8, and 5 year old grandkids)!!! The time spent swimming, tubing, bike riding (very private area for kids to ride, along with some dirt trails) and the boat trips we took, the kids enjoyed every minute of it. It was a very memorable week for them - - and they didn't miss "technology" at all!!!!

Great Memorial Day week stay!

We had a great stay for Memorial Day week at your Mullett Lake cottage. The cottage was very clean and well-maintained and the location was great. It is small and basic but very bright and open. The whole renting experience was seamless - from booking to the stay. We were lucky to have overall great weather. My son and his friend were fishing every day and my wife and I spent much quiet time out on the deck at the lake, out boating and hanging out in downtown Indian River, which was only 10 minutes away. This was our first time on Mullett - what a secret treasure. You really don't know how big this lake is until you are out on it! Clean, beautiful, and so much to do. We will come back again for sure. Great stay!

Just sent you a deposit for this year and remembered to write a review for last summer. We love this little cottage and Mullett Lake/Scott's Bay. Staying in your place reminds me of the summers we had as kids in nice rental cottages up north. There aren't too many of these classic cottages left. We like how your place is so cute and the location can't be beat. The swimming and boating are excellent, the Point is a bonus and the town of Indian River is so charming. We loved Paula's Cafe by car and the Inn Between by boat. Cross in the Woods was amazing. So much to see and do, but the lake is the best. Loved the fireflies and the bon fires! Thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven.

I just booked our family's stay for this coming summer and this will be our third year at your cottage. It is an awesome little place in a great location. We feel like we are part of a quite neighborhood with nice neighbors, and yet we feel like we're up north. My wife loves the little cottage and my kids rollerblade around the point. The fishing and boating are awesome. Thanks and we look forward to another great stay!

Patrick and Elizabeth,

We really enjoyed our stay at your cottage on Mullet Lake. The fall weather was excellent. We journeyed to the Pigeon River Country wildlife area and viewed some of Michigan's wild elk herd. The mating season was on and we even heard the bulls bugling. It was quite an experience.

The Fall fishing was very good as I caught several very good smallmouth bass. One was over five pounds and several over four. All were released unharmed of course.

We enjoyed several of the restaurants and golf courses on the list you provided. We would especially recommend the Brown Trout Restaurant and both the Black Bear Golf Course in Vanderbilt and the Indian River Country Club.

We are looking forward to a return visit next Fall and thanks again for everything.
