Townhome, 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Available for almost any date between now and New Years, our beautiful, secluded townhome is just minutes from Main Street. With 3 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, eat-in kitchen and open living room/dining room (with wood-burning fireplace) you'll have plenty of room for your family.

The first floor has a large eat-in kitchen with an open view of the new large dining table and living room. The living room has a large comfortable couch and loveseat and a lazy recliner that faces the wood-burning fireplace. A large sliding door overlooks the wooded backyard. A 1/2 bath sits off the dining room.

Upstairs, the large Master Bedroom has a very comfortable Queen size bed, a reading chair/ottoman, private bath, and a sliding door leading out to an upper deck. Also, 2 additional bedrooms (1 with a Queen bed and another with 2 twin/single beds) share a second full bath.

Just off the property is the Jackrabbit Trail with a quaint bridge that crosses a Lake Placid tributary. Up for a hike or a run (on foot or snowshoe)? Follow the Jackrabbit Trail to the foot of Lake Placid for a fantastic view!

What makes this townhome unique

Short walk to Main St. Follow a short wooded pathway down the Jackrabbit trail where you can sit on the bridge and enjoy the stream passing under your feet. Perfect place to enjoy a bottle of wine or relax in the sun. Looking for a fantastic place to eat? Call our friends Moses and Nan at the Paradox Lodge just down the street. This intimate B&B has the best menu in town. You won't be disappointed. (for ages 13+). Enjoy a good beer? You MUST go to the LP Pub and Brewery and have a pint of Ubu Ale. It will not disappoint. Walking around Mirror Lake? You'd find it difficult to pass by The Cottage and not stop in for a sandwich and a mimosa. The view can not be beat.

Perfect Location for Ironman!

We stayed here for Ironman this year. It was a very convenient drive or uphill walk to Main Street, and close to the bike and run courses for my family to spectate. If I were to do Lake Placid again, we would definitely want to stay here. The house had plenty of space for us, was very clean, and the owners were very helpful and easy to work with.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

A great vacation

The townhouse was great.. This was our first time in Lake Placid and we did not know the area, but we could not have chosen better! It was very comfortable in every way and the location was perfect! It took us a day to figure out how close we really were to Main St (cutting through to come out near Starbucks). and we even walked it a few times. The fact that the weather was good did not hurt either. We really had a great time. I would definitely try to stay here again if/when we return to Lake Placid!
