The Superior Alternative to Hotel Living
My husband and I stayed nearly two weeks at Miller Cottage and absolutely adored it, enough so to extend our stay a few days! The pictures are completely accurate - walking in, we felt like we already knew this place thanks to the great pictures on this site. Located within five minutes of all the main attractions and shopping Annapolis has to offer, not to mention how convenient Annapolis is to both D.C. and Baltimore, this was truly a wonderful way to avoid being in a cramped hotel while still having that special vacation feel.
The kitchen was a fabulous alternative to constantly eating out, and we easily entertained a small dinner crowd while there, thanks to the well-equipped kitchen that included everything from steak knives to salt. The living room was quaint and comfortable, the bedroom spacious and the shower was incredible - you will be arguing over who gets it first each morning!
I really appreciated the owners' obvious care for this property. Not only were they fabulous and easy to work with, but the binders they provided on both the Annapolis area, as well as a comprehensive history of the cottage and its recent renovations, were thoughtful and interesting. Both my husband and I read through the history of the cottage, which I believe made the stay even that much more charming.
If you are seeking a stay where you can feel at home - away from the impersonal and cramped nature of even the nicest of hotels - I 100% recommend Miller Cottage. With its home-like comforts, nestled in a quiet part of Annapolis that is only a stone's throw away from all the exciting attractions of the area, you really do have it made.
