Passing through secure iron gates, the entry court and gardens lead you to an impressive stone entryway with a hand-carved front door. The living spaces are presented in grand scale with vaulted ceilings, rich wood floors, original art and sophisticated yet comfortable furnishings. The ambiance is a unique blend of cozy and commanding, charming and impressive, intimate and grand.
The Living Room opens to both the entry gardens and the luxurious pool terrace. A 2-story stone fireplace anchors this opulent room, providing an elegant location for entertaining or quiet fireside chats. A full bar with comfortable seating is an inviting corner of the room.
This East Wing boasts two lovely Guest Suites, each with its own full bathroom. French doors, which open to the backyard pool terrace, set the inviting mood in the first Guest Suite. The second Guest Suite, with views of the lovely front yard, includes the luxury of a cozy fireplace.
The Formal Dining Room is a gracious feature of the West Wing. Brightened by an abundance of windows in the daytime, the charm of the room is warmed by an impressive stone fireplace for later dining.
The Gourmet Kitchen, centered by a massive marble island, provides every amenity for trained chefs or amateur gourmands. The generous supply of culinary tools and the professional appliances complete this Chef's 'Dream Kitchen'. A clever upstairs loft has a single-size futon, providing a child or teen with a space of their own but still close to parental supervision. Just outside is a wonderful private lap pool terrace with barbecue and dining table.
The North Guest House is tucked away behind lush landscaped hedges. Ultra private accommodations make this a unique escape. A grand Master Suite opens to a private patio. The Living Room with vaulted beam ceilings centers around the cut stone fireplace, providing a warm and relaxing space to end a busy day.
