Wonderful House

My wife and I along with our 6yr old daughter stayed here July 17-24. The pictures do not do it justice. The house was PERFECT for us during our stay and the pool was a HUGE hit for our daughter. It was a nice break from the sand and crowds at the beach. At night the pools lighting changes color and provides a wonderful setting. The house was super clean and decorated very nice. All the beds were very comfortable.The owners did a great job. The front deck was a nice place to sit in the evenings and relax after a long day at the beach.

The house is close to everything you need and Kathy, the property manager, was very nice. She was very helpful and even recommended places to eat and gave us some helpful information during our stay here. She was nice enough to come by and check on us as we were getting ready to leave just to make sure everything went well.

The owners happened to be staying at the upstairs section there during the weekend and they are a very nice family. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering it for a vacation rental. Thanks once again for making it feel like a home away from home.

Wonderful place to stay

My husband & I, our daughter, her husband & 3 kids stayed here 4th of July week. It was a very nice place. Slept 7 comfortably & actually could have slept 4 more. Clean, well maintained, roomy & just short walk to the beach. Everything you need is supplied. You will only need to bring extra paper towels, toilet paper & trash bags. The owners live upstairs, but were only there a couple of the days that we were, so we had the pool all to ourselves which was very nice. Restaurants on the island are very good & reasonably priced. Pier 19 was recommended but was our least favorite. Dirty Al's was better & cheaper. Gabriellas's was amazing as was Blackbeards. Also good was Tom & Jerry's & Cap'n Roys. Our only complaint was the heat & mosquitos. We had small children so it was hard to get out in the afternoon. No shade at the pool. We travel alot and have stayed in condos & hotels and this unit ranks right up there with the best of them.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children
