Three bedrooms, side porch, and one full bath, sleeps 6 Adults & Children

Historic and newly renovated three bedroom cottage, with one full bath, sleeps eight adults very comfortably. Two large bedrooms downstairs with one queen sized bed and the second room with a double bed; both rooms are air conditioned. The 18 x 35 room upstairs has a double bed, two day beds, and two single beds and is air conditioned. The screened/glassed in side porch also has one day bed which is great for reading, napping, and relaxing.

Special features include a full front porch, wide plank floors in the hall and kitchen and side porch, a gas fireplace in the kitchen and new white Berber carpet in the rest of the rooms. The kitchen appliances are new. The home has been professionally decorated with 'trompe l'oeil' details on the walls, comfortable furniture seating,new mattress, wicker on the porch, rocking chairs and antiques.

Home is located on the premier Lake Street, with the marina, break-walls, lighthouse, village, and superb walking along the beach.

Another fabulous Labor Day weekend

Once again, this place was a true gem for our weekend getaway before the grind of back to school starts! The house was clean, beautifully decorated and lot of supplies available for last minute forgotten things. The location of this house is amazing! You are within a quick walk to the beach, there is a playground for the kids that very close by, the ice cream store is within walking distance and the restaurants around the area are great!
The house is beautifully maintained and the garden and surrounding area is very well kept. The porch is beautiful to have morning coffee and afternoon cocktails and this year we took advantage of the great fire pit in the back yard. It was an absolutely wonderful getaway and I cannot give enough high marks for this house. What a treasure!!

Delightful cottage in the heart of Port Sanilac

We had a delightful stay in Port Sanilac!! The cottage could not have been more perfect, we immediately felt right at home. The house was clean, comfortable and outfitted with everything we needed during our stay. The property owners were very helpful and made every effort to ensure we had a great time.

We spent our mornings watching the sun come up over the lake and our afternoons reading in the sunroom, it was heaven! The village was ideal for walking the dogs, stopping for ice cream, watching the boats down at the harbor and strolls on the beach. We felt so fortunate to have such a convenient, breezy, beautiful home to return to after a day of exploring. Our family was able to visit while we were there and we all had a great lunch at the Stone Lodge - everyone raved about it! It was truly a memorable vacation for us and our dogs!

We also highly recommend the diner around the corner, I think it was "Mary's" - it was fabulous and just like everything else a quick walk from the cottage. There is also a drive-in movie theater about 15 minutes down the road towards Sandusky which makes for a fun family evening too!

We definitely look forward to returning again. Thanks so much for sharing your adorable home by the lake with us this summer!

Wonderful Week

We all had a just a great time. The cottage is beatiful - bedrooms, living room, the kitchen.We found every little thing we needed - owners of the house tought about everything people with children might need! Everybody enjoyed the front porch with a cup of coffee in the morning and kids cooked marshmallows at night in the beautiful backyard. The beach and a playground is just across the street. It is a perfect place for family vacation and we will be coming back next year! Thanks again,
