What a great home in a fabulous location! We use VRBO quite a bit and this was one of our favorites. It was also one of the most well-appointed and clean that we have rented. This was our first time to the Seattle area and what a great and beautiful location to explore the region. We were able to easily go into Seattle and enjoy the day there as well as several days enjoying beautiful Bainbridge Island. It was easy to enjoy a relaxing day without even leaving the house too with the amazing views, fire pit, BBQ, hot tub and a well stocked game cabinet! Try the Rolling Bay Cafe and the Italian restaurant next to the Jiffy Mart just a short walk down the street. I highly recommend a drive around the entire island and a visit to the Town and Country Market for your shopping needs (amazing produce and delicious pre-prepared dishes) as well as Eleven winery for a quick wine tasting (they had chess tables to entertain our kids). If you want to venture up north for a whale watch, we also enjoyed Eagle Wing Whale watching in the town of Victoria BC. I wish we'd had more time to explore nearby Olympic National Park so we'll be back! Being from New England, we actually thought the greenery and leaves changing more beautiful here than even in the Vermont/NH area. Very friendly and helpful neighbors too in this charming community...
Very nice house with great view. Booking was easy and clear. Thanks Mitchi !
This was our second trip to the cottage. Got out of the Texas heat and into the Seattle cool. We saw more of Bainbridge Island this time and cooked some great meals on the grill. Love the view from each room. Home is very well maintained and has everything you might need.
Loved sitting outside, looking over the Sound. So very relaxing. Highly recommend this property.
House is great, well stocked and comfortable, the views from the deck are spectacular. We loved Bainbridge Island and all the opportunities for outdoor and cultural activities, all expectations were exceeded, thanks to the owner!
Now let me see? What should I do first? Was the question we asked ourselves from the first day of our stay.
I cooked up a storm for Mother's Day in a beautiful kitchen with everything I needed. Our daughter just had a baby and we were visiting for a week. I couldn't decide if I should take a bubble bath, light a fire for s'mores, or soak in the hot tub.
There is the most beautiful view you could ever image from every one of these
choices. The house is so beautiful you don't want to leave! We took walks to the Rolling Bay nursery for lattes and pastries and wondered through the beautiful neighborhood. We woke up to the sun rising every morning with a different amazing view! This home has everything you need and more. If you are a gardener you will sit and gaze in amazement of the textures and colors of the well planned natural bouquet. I can't say enough and we had sunny days everyday! I think they just say it rains here! Lolo My son enjoyed golf at Wing Point and we joined him for a great lunch. We will be back Thank You for a great experience!
Our family had a wonderful time during our recent get-away vacation to Bay Vista Cottage on Bainbridge Island. We did find the cottage and surrounding area to be as advertised with breathtaking views and a relaxing peaceful atmosphere. Also, thank you for your extreme organization which made checking in and out painless. In addition, we appreciate that you provided clear directions for our use of all of the cottage amenities. The kitchen area was extraordinary! We enjoyed all of the supplies provided as well as the space which allowed us family time together as we prepared meals and snacks. I think I will carry the view out of the kitchen window in my mind's eye for a very long time!! Sincerely Cathrin
