El Molino del Conde is a beautiful big Andalucian mill set in large secluded grounds bordered a stream. Excellent access to Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda and Malaga. A beautiful location for family holidays, reunions and celebrations, El Molino del Conde has been lovingly restored to retain the character of the big old mill house and offer a high level of comfort. There are high beamed ceilings, comfortable bedrooms and large luxurious bathrooms. The big Old Bakery kitchen is designed to make your holiday easier if you are a large group - with restaurant-grade cooker, big fridge and dishwasher. Catering is also available.

The Gardens: What makes El Molino del Conde really special is the setting.

The mill lies in 3 acres of private grounds where you can relax .... and where children entertain themselves happily for hours! You'll find fresh eggs from the chickens, fresh herbs from the kitchen garden, pomegranate, fig, almond, cherry and walnut trees, sun terraces, the private swimming pool, large shaded dining areas, picnic spots next to the stream, a vine-covered courtyard and large grounds where children can run around safely

El Molino del Conde is ideally located for visits to Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Ronda and Malaga. The Alhambra Palace in Granada and the Picasso Museum in Malaga are only an hour away and other day-trips might include the Mezquita in Cordoba or the ancient Roman aqueduct in Ronda. From home you can walk up the valley between the olive groves to buy fresh vegetables from the local market and enjoy tapas in the bars. Visit the local hilltop village of Iznajar with its ruined Moorish Alcazaba and the church of Santiago set above the beautiful large lake.

The most fantastic holiday

Heavenly. A really beautiful place, very unspoilt area. Fantastic pool the children lived in! The house was so lovely, big kitchen, thick stone walls, that kept it cooler at night. A lovely breeze at night too. Very comfortable beds, good relaxing areas, lots of private spaces, very good when you are in a big mixed-age, group. Nick and Amanda were the perfect host and hostess, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going back!

Amazing September wedding in beautiful grounds

We have just had the most amazing wedding at El Molino del Conde. The beautiful grounds gave us the perfect playground to have one of our most magical days ever. Thanks to Nick and Amanda for the endless help and hard work and being so unflappable. Just hanging out at the house has been really special for us with our families … you can while away hours just lazing by the pool, staring out to the hills, listening to the stream and preparing large extravagant meals in the sunshine. We always felt very looked after … but in our own home. Thank you for giving us such important and beautiful memories that will last forever.

Wow! What a beautiful place - excelled in every way and surpassed all expectations – even though they were very high!! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a week and keep 23 people (including 12 children) entertained. Amazing house, gorgeous setting, fab food, lovely friends and sunshine – truly marvelous. I have never relaxed so much on a holiday before. What a sanctuary

"Magnificient" Having spent our mother's 80th birthday in Rome we were very particular about finding something as special and memorable for her 85th. We were a family of 18 with small as well as teen aged grand children and their parents and grandmum. I spent hours on line and by phone attempting to find the perfect place. I am happy to say it exceeded all of our expectations and has provided us with our most fond memories of a family celebration ever. The facilities were immaculate and spectatularly renovated with the most up to date kitchen and bathrooms yet kept in the spirit of the old mill. The views were breath taking and shopping easy. We cooked and ate together easily and made wonderful trips to nearby Granada, Malaga, Marbella and Sevilla. Thank you so much amanda and Nick. Our family will never forget you
