SEYCHELLES -2BR/2BA STILL HAVE SOME MAY DATES OPEN!

This was our third visit to Seychelles and by far our least pleasant visit. Our other two visits were wonderful but we were in different condos rented out by different rental companies and probably cleaned by different cleaning companies. We brought my mother with us this time because my Dad just passed away in January. We wanted her to have the master bedroom so she would have her privacy. The sheets on the master bed had black marks all over them - looked like they had not been washed. We looked for extra sheets but found none so we had to wash them late that evening and had to stay up late for them to dry. Also, my son was sleeping on the top bunk and my husband and I on the bottom. There were no pillows on those beds or top sheets. We found the top sheets and put them on and after looking a while we found two pillows in a drawer. They did not have pillow cases on them. We started looking around for pillow cases and none were to be found. When we put the sheets from the master bed in the washer there were two wet pillow cases in there. We put them in the dryer and there was a load in the dryer - along with a purple tank top. We had to take a pillow from the master bed to have enough pillows for the other bedroom - thank goodness there was another pillow case in the load that was in the dryer because there was a pillow on the master bed with no pillow case on it. I e-mailed the rental company immediately and got a prompt response the next morning and she said this was unacceptable and would have extra pillows sent over. This never happened. She also said we would get a refund on our $85 cleaning fee. I don't know if this has happened because we did not receive an e-mail telling us it had been credited. Also there were NO dish towels at all in the condo and only one dish rag. We would have used a hand towel for a dish rag but there was just enough for the bathrooms. I would suggest they stock the unit better with linens and kitchen rags and towels. The second day we found out that one of the card keys did not work. I took it to the office and she fixed it. We were told we probably demagnatized it with a cell phone. Well, that could not be the case because we knew not to put it near a cell phone. Anyway the card was fixed that time but the next day it would not work again. We took it again to the office. They could not get it to work - so we went the rest of the week with one key which is very inconvenient. Rent another condo!
