House, 3 Bedrooms + Sunroom, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8-9)

This is a spacious, beautiful pool home on a wide clear channel in Key Colony Beach, Florida. The home is well furnished in a tropical style and has room for couples or a family.

There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with king beds and 1 queen bed. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the sunroom.

The master has a private bath with dual sinks and a shower. The guest bath has a tub/shower combination. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and TV's.

The great room is spacious and open to the kitchen and dining area. You can see the ocean from the front window!

All of your bed linens, bath towels and kitchen necessities are provided. Just pack your clothes and buy some groceries and you are all set! Or, skip the groceries, there are great restaurants in Key Colony Beach as well as Marathon.

Outside there is a great pool. We just expanded the pool deck in April of 2012 and there's plenty of room for the family and friends. There's a gas grill and charcoal grill. The dock will accommodate up to a 30' boat and there is a fish table, water and electricity at the dock also.

There is an open lot next to the home on one side, lined with tropical plantings. The other side is also well landscaped for a sense of privacy.

The 2 car garage has one side open for your use, however, the driveway is large and there is room in the yard for parking of a car or trailer as well.

About Ann Wenger

We are a couple from Ohio who are looking forward to retirement. We have owned houses on 10th Street since 2001 and have always had the dream of owning a single family home. That dream came true in May, 2010, when we purchased this beautiful home. We have been busy updating, decorating and just having fun!

We love having family and friends down to Key Colony Beach...and they loving visiting!

Being from Ohio, we love all the outdoor restaurants. Something you can't do in OH other than a few months a year. Our favorite breakfast place is The Stuffed Pig and The Island fish Company for any meal!

We purchased in Key Colony Beach after vacationing in Marathon for 3 winters in a row. We discovered Key Colony Beach and knew that was the place for us. In fact, this is our 3rd place we have purchased in Key Colony Beach. We can walk to 3 different restaurants, to Sunset Park and enjoy walking the whole island, always feeling safe.

Beautifully decorated home! My husband, myself and our four girls had a great time. We spoke with the owners, met their friends in the neighborhood and spoke with the pool boy. We were very blessed to have found such a wonderful place to stay, as it was our first time renting.

Everything we expected and more!

We had a great time and the house was everything we expected and more! We happened to run in to an old school mate who lives just a street over who was able to give us some insight to some of the characters who call Key Colony Beach home. Some of the houses and landscaping were awesome! Sunset park and Inch beach were both really nice places to go. Although we did not get to fish as much as we would have liked, we were able to do plenty of boating and hang out on the sand bars and cruise the area. If you ever need to use me as a reference for the house or need a reliable house sitter, feel free to contact me, we are just a couple hours north.

Hope we get a chance to come back soon,

Spring Vacation

The house had a wonderful location. We were able to walk or ride bikes to the restaurants located on the island as well as the beach. Being able to go to Inch Beach instead of drive to a beach was great. Although the weather earlier in the week was not great, we were still able to hang out by the pool when the sun was out. Sunset Beach was a walk away, and we went almost every night to watch the sunset. Key Colony Beach is a beautiful island.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Girls Getaway!

My girlfriends and I stayed at this house for a week and had a blast! The house is beautiful and a great price. The pool was perfect during the hot afternoons and the private beach was a great place to tan or watch the sunset. The locals restuarants were so good especially the Island. I am most definitely rebooking this house next year.

Being British we were not sure what to expect!

Arriving from Englad, we were a bit disappointed with the Florida weather, but the house and location made up for it. We wanted to be able to visit all of the Keys and we certainly were able to. The weather improved and we were able to enjoy the pool to the fullest and we in there every day.
Being British, we were not sure what to expect, but we were not disappointed with your lovely home and hopefully we will be able to come back some day.
The Keys and your home were welcoming. Everybody was helpful and we felt at home.
