Austin House Rental Photos and Description
House, 7 Bedrooms,1 converted sleep area, 5 Baths (Sleeps 13+)
It doesn't get better than this central/south Austin location to have family reunions. The living areas are large, cozy and allow for everyone to be together or spread out. Since the house has had two additions it mixes the old Austin with new chic. It is full of windows and skylights to let in the beautiful speckled light through the many trees. There are also many upgrades that come with this house including: handmade kitchen pottery, cove lighting, foot heaters, multiple shower heads and bidet in master bath, artisan light fixtures and wall hangings, stain glassed features, whole house music system, 2 master suites with 2 master bathrooms, long leaf pine wanes coating, glass tile, claw-foot tub and more!
At every turn, this house warms your heart and will make you and your family feel good. Bi-level outdoor decks and dining table allow for large outdoor gatherings in charming yard. This cozy 4500 sq ft abode sits on a double lot with 5 towering oak trees for lots of privacy.
Zilker Neighborhood: The Zilker/Barton Heights neighborhood has always been one of my favorite 'hoods in town. It's close to everything so that makes it nice. All the restaurants on Barton Springs Rd is walkable as are 2 local yoga studios, a few bars, a retro bowling alley, and the Alamo Drafthouse (our own eat & drink while you watch) movie theater. The best thing about our neighborhood is that it is safe. People (like you and me) walk and jog the streets from 5am until midnight. There's also a lot of Moms and/or Dads pushing strollers. I only started locking my house in the last few years after I had children. It also is perfectly safe to leave the windows open 24/7 for fresh air in appropriate weather. Gratefully, I've never had an incidence of theft or suspicious behavior.

About Colette Zygmont
I lived in this house for many many years. I adore every corner of it. It's super special and will surely exceed your expectations of a vacation rental. I, however, am choosing to live much more simply these days so i bought another house, very, very close by to protect my awesome little palace.
Colette Zygmont purchased this house in 1995
Why Colette Zygmont chose Austin
My house is close to everything but because of its layout, you feel like you're in France or some other exotic place. Plus, because of the abundant space you can really retreat or cozy up, whichever your preference
What makes this house unique
One of the most special places in Austin in Barton Springs pool. It is our crown jewel, open 365 days a year because its spring fed. The house is a 10 min walk from the springs. i encourage every guest to 'get baptized' Austin style. It will leave a lasting memory!
