The Bergerie is a 300 year old, recently restored Provençale farm building with 1 bedroom, a living/kitchen/dining room, and swimming pool. Located in a quiet semi-rural area just 10 minutes from the beach.

The property consists of 1 bedroom, a living/kitchen/dining room, patio, and swimming pool on a large (1/2 acre+ parcel) with olive trees on several terraces. Private secure parking is included. Air-Conditioning was added in 2012.

Rate includes daily continental breakfast.
About Rick and Pam

My wife (Pam) and I have owned our home since 2005. Pam has a long career in the restaurant business, being a partner for over 20 years in the well known Cheeseboard Pizzeria, bakery and cheese shop in Berkeley, California. I was formerly in the commercial software business and have travelled extensively throughout the world. Both of us found the South of France to be the ideal place to look for a second home. The climate, culture, food, and especially the light of this area are are like nowhere else. We hope you will find your stay in the area as relaxing and enjoyable as we have.

We are 45 minutes to St. Tropez, just over an hour to Aix en Provence or Italy and only a few hours drive to Spain.

So beautiful, perfect hosts

My husband and I and our 5-month-old baby could not have enjoyed our stay more in Rick and Pam's "Bergerie" in Mougins. It was so beautiful I felt like we were staying in a picture postcard of the French Riviera -- soaring vistas, a turquoise swimming pool, a citrus tree outside the door, and friendly hosts who served us local pastries and delicious espresso every morning on a shady terrace. The guesthouse feels like a spacious one-room house, with high ceilings, a beautiful (new!) bathroom, and tasteful decorations. The wi-fi was excellent in the little house and we even had our own private terrace outside for meals and relaxing next to a goldfish pool. It all was perfectly clean and Mougins is only a few minutes drive away to pick up amenities and food, Cannes and Antibes about 20 mins away. But the best part of our stay was the morning conversations we had with with Rick and Pam. They are charming, kind people, who have been all over the world and yet remain humble of spirit. I can't say enough nice things about our stay in their gorgeous guesthouse!

The Bergerie was wonderful!

My husband and I just finished a 9 night stay at the Bergerie and we couldn't have been happier. Rick and Pam were delightful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The bergerie is decorated very tastefully and they have stocked it with every item you could possibly need during your stay. The grounds are absolutely stunning...even better than the pictures! Breakfast every morning was delicious and the view from the terrace was incredible. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and will most definitely be back!!!!! 5 stars for sure!

A Beautiful Little Pied-de-Terre

We were here for two weeks in August. It is a beautiful house and a super nice family (Misha, Stephane, Lino and their dog). The house and pool are beautiful and the surrounding area is a dream. Each morning Misha served us typical French breakfast on our terrace, and we had a great view included. There are fresh towels for the pool, and in the bathroom.

All in all it was a great holiday. From their location we could easily reach te towns of Mougins (Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco / Monte Carlo, etc).

We can recommend this place to anyone. Wonderful.

Our visit May 17-22

We had the pleasure of being the first visitors to this new
VRBO listing. The photos do not due justice to the setting.
This is a large property just to the west of Mougins which
you see across the valley and over an ancient stand of olive
trees.
Stephane and Misha and little Lino are delightful. We loved
our visits with them over breakfast and a fabulous dinner
prepared by Misha and Stephane, the freshest and most honest
meal of our trip. The wine selection was superb.

Our lovely stone building decorated in Provencal style with
its own courtyard was a relief after our small rooms
elsewhere in France. We were relaxed and happy there
and look forward to returning.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
