Family Christmas and 50th Wedding Anniversary

When planning our family Christmas, we had decided that we wanted to find a place where all 16 of us could get together with space for each family. This cabin was a great fit for us. We had two family areas so that there was a place for the younger ones to go and hang out (they liked being in the downstairs playing on the game console) and a place for the adults to have drinks, make food, and play games as well.
We enjoyed watching the kids ice skate on the lake behind the cabin and taking a dip in the hot tub that was made even more fun by the cold temperatures. We were lucky to have been able to find a sporting goods store in Shakopee that rented ice skates by the day. The cabin had all the necessities that we needed from kitchen items to towels so we didn't have to pack any extra items.
The cabin was also a perfect setting for our family pictures. The main A frame of the cabin is classic yet rustic in appeal and comfortable and the outside had a new coating of snow that really set off the beautiful green of the A frame.
It was a joy to deal with the owners who made our first time renting a vacation rental so very easy.
I would highly recommend this rental to anyone!
