Blairsville Cabin Rental Photos and Description
Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
Shady Creek Lodge is a beautiful cabin located in the mountains of Blairsville. It sits on nearly an acre of property with large shade trees and a babbling creek at the edge of the property. The covered lower deck with hot tub or the main level deck with BBQ grill are great places to sit and enjoy the peacefulness of being in the mountains. You may even see the deer that frequently roam through the property along with the other abundant wildlife.
When darkness falls and you are finally forced to come inside, you have 2 stone fireplaces, Wi-Fi, a computer desk, 2 TVs, 2 DVD players, 2 stereos, a VCR, playing cards and board games. There is plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy. Bedtime gives you a KING pillowtop bed on the main level, large QUEEN suite on lower level and antique FULL bed on lower level.
Every effort has been made to make guests feel at home. Shady Creek Lodge is decorated with treasures collected in the mountains over the years and a few animal 'friends' hanging on the walls. This is not your typical rental, it is a 'home away from home'.

About Ty Cobb
After spending our summer vacations with our kids in the mountains for over 20 years, we have finally realized our dream of having our own place. One of us likes to shop and the other loves the outdoors. Thankfully, both of those hobbies can be done in and around Blairsville. Ty and Angie Cobb, Port Orange, Florida

Why Ty Cobb chose Blairsville
After 20-or so years of vacationing in different areas of the mountains, we fell in love with Blairsville after taking a fall motorcycle trip to the area. There are so many places you can go in a short distance with so much to do without having the 'tacky tourist' feel to them. They are warm, cozy, friendly towns that have captured our hearts. The scenery is just breathtaking!
What makes this cabin unique
Quiet, peaceful morning coffee on the deck watching the animals. Strolling down to the creek with a good book. Hiking at Vogel State Park or the other nearby parks. Boating and fishing at any one of the numerous lakes in the area. Antique shopping and winery tours in Blairsville & nearby towns, or motorcycle rides on some of the best roads anywhere. Back to the deck in the evening for more 'critter' watching and dinner cooked on the BBQ grill. It doesn't get much better than this!
Guestbook comments from the owner
We loved the cabin! The decor was really cute, especially loved the framed pieces of quilt. Gave me a great idea for an old family quilt. Thanks so much!
