This is a perfect house for a family vacation. The house is extremely well maintained,clean, and updated. Nice that each bedroom has it's own bathroom plus an extra 1/2 bath on the main floor. As a mom I appreciated that there was only one TV in the living area, keeps everyone together. Look in the cabinet for games. The house is located on one of the most beautiful roads on the lake and makes for great walks and runs(head south). GP has it so well equipped you only need to bring your personal items. If you have any questions for problems, he is quick to answer your e-mails. It is only an 8 minute drive down to Bay Harbor and 15-20 minutes into Petoskey, and close to grocery stores, but why would you want to leave. If you visit in the summer there are multiple farm markets in nearby cities and renting a bike at Latitude 45 in Petoskey and riding on the path to Charlevoix is just beautiful. The boat is a must, and we did not experience any problems. We also had a blast with the kayaks. We will be coming back again.
