Emerald Isle is named after the beautiful Emerald Blue waters of our North Carolina coastal area. It is a great, relaxing area with plenty of activities to keep the family busy from beach time to golfing and go-carts to kayaking. The NC State aquarium is minutes away. There are many great days for kiteboarding with ocean side-on-shore winds, bay ridding and a local kite shop (Wind Toys).

Let me first say that I've never rented a home like this before. It was easy and the owner stayed in contact through the entire process. Once we arrived, wow! We were definitely impressed with the house. Everything was just as described on the website. The place is clean and spacious and makes you feel right at home. Additionally, the beach is very close, just a short walk across the street. We also really appreciated being at the end of the cul-de-sac. We were able to spend evenings on the decks enjoying the view and listening to the surf instead of traffic. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone.

Great Place to Relax!!!!

This house was absolutely wonderful. My book club came here for a weekend getaway, and we enjoyed every bit of it. The home was fully equipped with the necessary items, very clean and spacious, and kept up well. The Maynard's were awesome and very helpful when needed. The short walk to the beach was amazing. This was the best place for Turning Pages Book Club to come and relax and we did just that!!!! Looking forward to coming to Emerald Isle and staying at this same home again next year. Thanks for allowing us to share you vacation home with you!

Weekend Away

We enjoyed a wonderful, long weekend in a very comfortable, convenient and relaxing vacation home. This property is a home away from home.

The layout of the house is welcoming. The 3rd floor deck offered a great space for reading and quiet hours of relaxation. Our early risers enjoyed a cup of coffee in the morning hours while listening to chirping birds and waiting for spectacular sunrises. The sleeping accommodations are spacious and very comfortable. The main living area is a wonderful gathering space for families and friends. Although there are places to enjoy dining out, the kitchen is fully equipped for making simple or more complex meals. This house is a clean and comfortable space, and the walk to the beach is very short. We would recommend this area and would love to come back to this Emerald Isle home, again.
