Dan and Vicki own Scofield House B&B, located kitty-corner from Ninth Avenue Guest House. We are available, if needed, but will not intrude on your stay.
Dan works full-time in the B&B and performs maintenance & grounds-keeping at both properties. He tries to get in a little fishing from time to time, mainly in the winter.
Vicki is a registered nurse and is employed full-time at Ministry Door County Medical Center. She is very 'hands on' at the B&B, assisting Dan with the daily routine of the B&B as needed, managing the website & guest management system, & handles all guest contacts & marketing.
Dan and Vicki Klein purchased this house in 2004
We fell in love with Door County the first time we visited here on our honeymoon, in 2002. Shortly after that, we made the decision to purchase Scofield House B&B and a few months later, we purchased the house that is now Ninth Avenue Guest House.
This home was exactly as stated. It had warmth, charm and character. The owner goes above and beyond in the amenities department. The kitchen was well equipped for a gourmet meal or just some quick eats. The owners have done everything top notch. There isn't one bad thing I could say. Many wonderful shops were within walking distance, many brochures were on hand to make our Door County stay perfect...congrats to this team for making our stay memorable.
