Condo, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 2 Baths (Sleeps 6-8)

This well appointed and newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo has a second floor that is an open air loft for kids gaming area with a 32'' flat screen TV and a 3rd bedroom for additional guests.

The kitchen is a full sized, u-shaped space containing hardwood floors, and fully equipped for the chef or baker of the house. The living room has cozy furnishings within which to enjoy the views of Baldy beside the wood burning fireplace. Enjoy listening to your favorite tunes on the stereo CD player with IPod & IPhone connections. This unit also provides a 42'' Flat screen TV and Bose sound system with CD, DVD, and Blue Ray for watching movies.

Each bedroom contains a 32' flat screen TV. Owners provide free Wi-Fi connection. Stackable washer/dryer in unit.

Well equipped kitchen for the chef and baker. Hiking, and fishing maps are provided. Complex has private swimming pool, hot tub and recreation room.

Fantastic Weekend at the Condo!

This is truly a great condo. It has a warm cozy feel, was very clean, and well stocked. A nice note and a bottle of wine were left on the counter to welcome us. We had a group of five friends...and everyone got their own bed to sleep in. It was nice to have a fireplace (with supplies all ready to burn!) The location is perfect...an easy walk into Ketchum. The owner was prompt in responding to my questions. I would definitely stay at "Great Valley Digs" again.

A Great Place to Stay in Sun Valley

Our family had a wonderful stay at Doug and Catherine's "Great Valley Digs" condo. The unit was perfect for our group of 6. It was tastefully decorated, had all the conveniences of home, and was in a great location, close to downtown Ketchum and the River Run lodge and gondola. If you twisted my arm and made me pick something to improve, I guess I might say it would be nice to have king beds, instead of queens in the downstairs bedrooms, and maybe some window coverings that better blocked out the light. These really didn't take away from our enjoyment of the condo at all, though, and we would highly recommend this unit to anyone traveling to the Sun Valley area. Doug was a pleasure to work with throughout the rental process and made for a great host. As long as our family doesn't outgrow the number of bed's in Doug's unit, I'm sure we will be back in the future. Thanks again for your great hospitality.

Great Rental Experience!!

If you are looking for a condo in Sun Valley, this is the one! My husband and I stayed at Doug and Catherine's abode for 1 week. It was fabulous and cozy. When we travel we always search VRBO. This is the cleanest, centrally located condo we have ever stayed in. Lots of attention to detail. Kitchen has all the utensils. Beds were comfortable. Lots of lighting. 1 block to catch bus to River Run. Only skied 2 days, due to springtime weather. I didn't mind at all. Read, watched some "trashy" TV...all the conveniences. My husband went fishing. You will truly enjoy this condo. Best part was Doug's quick response if we had a question. That was so important. He takes pride in his home!! We would definitely return again, maybe next time in the summer!

Perfectly supplied home away from home

We’ve been traveling to Sun Valley for many decades having migrated from S.V. to Ketchum as our favored locale for vacation. This condo is well located near the River Run lifts as well as to Ketchum’s great restaurants and quirky specialty shops. It is also perfectly maintained and supplied. We had the added bonus of overlapping our vacation with that of the owner (who has a house in Ketchum) and found him responsive, charming and generous. He's pretty much a dream landlord. We plan to rent here again.

Feels even better than home!

We agree wholeheartedly with the positive reviews on this adorable condo. It was the perfect rental for two families each with 2 younger boys. The Xbox was a fabulous extra in our case. Besides the location being primo to River Run lifts and downtown, it's also right off the Wood River Trail which is great for running and skate skiing in the winter. It's been updated nicely and is fresh looking and very clean inside. The Garnet Hill flannel sheets were absolutely luxurious and I loved trying out the very Krups waffle iron I want to buy. The owners could not have been easier to work with or more responsive. We will definitely be back! All the comforts of home and more!
