Expansive decks overlooking the oceanfront are equipped with rocking chairs, comfortable Adirondacks, picnic table with 2 benches, and other plastic chairs to relax and enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. Kids are sure to love the air hockey tables in the 3rd floor bonus room. The kids love the top floor because of all the bunk-beds and their own sitting area with balcony! There are two large living areas and a sitting area with plenty of room for everyone to relax. One full kitchen and one mini kitchen to provide everyone with plenty of room to spread out. Main floor dining table seats 8 along with 4 bar stools can be used around the island for more seating! The middle floor dining table seats 4, there are 3 extra chairs placed around the house, and 4 wooden TV tray style tables. Wireless internet access is available for those who enjoy surfing the web. Full size desk for those who need to handle some business.

Bike, chair, umbrella and boat rentals are all within one mile of the house. There is a private deck and walkway to the beach and everything you need to have a wonderful relaxing vacation! There are free summer concerts each month as well as a wonderful Seafood Blues and Jazz Festival in October.
The NC Aquarium is a short drive as well as the USS NC Battleship Memorial and historic Wilmington! You can take a beautiful 30 minute ferry ride from Fort Fisher, just a few miles away, to Southport, another historic and beautiful town on the water. There are wonderful restaurants and antique shops in historic Southport. Come and enjoy our wonderful vacation home! We vacation there too, so you can count on it being well kept!

Standing on any of the 3 oceanfront decks of this house you can look to your left at low tide and see the Blockade Runner General Beauregard (Civil war ship). She stands at the foot of Spartanburg Ave in the same spot she ran aground at on that dark night with Captain Wilson at her helm. The ravages of time, sea and storms have taken their toll on the old girl for close to 150 years. On low tide she still pokes her engine above the waves to greet the sunbathers, beach goers and fisherman. Mostly laid flat and buried by the ravages of time the General Beauregard is known for providing some excellent Surf fishing. This wreck can also be fished from a boat but care must be taken as the wreck rises quite close to the surface.
