The Little Red Cabin is a great property for families and friends to gather. The cabin has a huge deck and a fenced yard. The yard is safe for your children and dogs to play and explore.
The cabin has a flat driveway, there are no stairs to get into the cabin. It has an easy access. There is a one mile fairly flat loop to take a walk from the cabin, or if you are looking more strenuous walks there are lots of hills to walk in the area. The cabin has lilacs blooming in the spring, the property feels very private and is surrounded by trees, yet it is very easy to get to by car. The Little Red Cabin is on a well maintained road that is plowed when it snows.
The cabin is used by our family and friends often, therefore it does not feel like other rentals that are often missing things that you need. It is very complete and personal. I decorate for the seasons and holidays. Our goal is for it to have the feeling of it is 'your little red cabin'!

I have lived in Idyllwild my entire life. Doug & I love it here. We have five grown children, three of them are married with children. We have five grand-children with another baby arriving in November. I even went to Idyllwild Elementary School! I love to go to Jazzercise at the Town Hall and walk my dog Charlie every day. I wouldn't live anywhere else.
Doug & I bought the cabin so that we would have more places to put kids and grand-kids when we all get together together. When we are not using the cabin for family, others can enjoy the cabin too.
The Little Red Cabin is so comfortable. The back deck is enormous and a great place to barbecue. The cabin has it's own horse shoe court. There is a tire swing for the little ones. You can eat breakfast and watch the birds at the bird feeder. Oh and the hammock is a must!!! There are so many relaxing and fun things to do at the cabin. If you want to go on a hike the cabin has it's own adventure pass for you to use and 2-backpacks with all of the local hiking information.
Idyllwild is 2 hours from the ocean and 1 hour from the desert. It is a great place for hiking and rock climbing. Idyllwild is a wonderful community for families to visit. Taking the kids to the famous Candy Cupboard is a must! There are many art galleries in town too. If you enjoy exercise classes Idyllwild offers Jazzercize, Yoga & Pilates. Step out the front door for nice walks in the neighborhoods. If you just want to relax, the deck has a hammock waiting for you.
Other Activities: horseshoes, rock climbing, hiking, birdwatching, sledding, concerts and performances at the Idyllwild Arts Foundation
