Idyllwild Cabin Rental Photos and Description
A very cute cabin, 1 Bedroom + Den, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)
The Little Red Cabin is a great property for families and friends to gather. The cabin's yard is beautifully wooded with a horseshoe court, a swing and a secure fence. Relax on the huge deck in the hammock and lounges. The deck also has a big table with an umbrella and a barbecue. The cabin's kitchen has everything you would ever need. The bedroom's bed is extremely comfortable. You can watch the birds at the bird feeders from the front windows. The cement driveway is flat, there are no stairs to the front door, it's easy access. If you feel like exercise, there is a one mile fairly flat loop to walk from the cabin, or if you are looking for more strenuous walks there are lots of hills to walk in the area. The cabin has lilacs blooming in the spring, flowers in the summer. The cabin is very private because it is surrounded by trees, yet it is very easy to get to by car. The Little Red Cabin is on a well maintained road that is plowed when it snows.
The cabin is used by our family and friends often, therefore it does not feel like other rentals that are often missing things that you need. It is very complete and personal. I decorate for the seasons and holidays. Our goal is for it to have the feeling of it is 'your little red cabin'.

I have lived in Idyllwild since I was a little girl. Doug and I have five children (three are married), we have six grandchildren. We work in the field of Forestry and have to travel for our work. Doug, myself and our dog Charlie love to off road in our Polaris side-x-side.
We bought the Little Red Cabin because our family is getting so large that we need more space when we all get together. The grandkids love to come up and play in the back yard and go on hikes. Their favorite store is the famous Candy Cupboard located in the middle of Idyllwild.
We love to play horseshoes on the property. With the big deck overlooking the horseshoe court everyone can watch. Because we have lived in Idyllwild for so long if you need any information on what is going on or how to get somewhere we are able to help. The cabin is minutes from the hiking trails, a mile and a half from town and less than a mile from the Idyllwild Arts Foundation.
