We fell in love with Little Compton after searching all over New England and the Islands for an oasis to spend time together with the whole family. We wanted a comfortable home with views and a short, low traffic drive from Boston so we could come and go easily. The incomparable countryside, great beaches, and a superb one-stop supermarket won us over.
Explore the unspoiled countryside with the four bicycles available. Take a leisurely walk or bike ride to Goosewing Beach for the afternoon. Gaze across the sprawling meadow just outside your back door. Then stretch out on the patio and watch the sunset over Quicksand Pond.
The Westport River Watershed Alliance is offering fun, hands on summer science programs for ages 3-16. Participants discover marine life, create eco-crafts, learn about coastal habitats.
