Barstow is located in Mariner House in the center of historic downtown Nantucket. Built in 1846 by Master Mariner and Whaling Captain William Jernegan, the building boasts Italianate architecture housing 6 individual apartments. Barstow is located on the first floor, consisting of a living room, kitchen, queen bedroom and one bathroom (shower only). It features original wooden korbels, fireplace (with wood provided), and original wooden window shutters.

The property is centrally located and with in walking distance to casual and gourmet dining, shopping, theatre, galleries, boating, landmarks, museums, public transportation and beaches.

Charming in town!

My husband and I stayed at Mariner House this winter. We wanted a quiet get away from the kids. We had a great weekend! The Mariner House is right downtown so we could walk to everything! We loved having the fireplace in the room, they even supplied the wood! Can't wait to go back in the summer!!
