This mountain lake house is the ideal vacation get-a-way for you and your family. Lake Wallenpaupack in the Northern Poconos has all that you would expect in a mountain lake. There is plenty of fishing, hiking, swimming, nature trails, hunting areas and outdoor recreation at all times of the year. Spring brings out wildlife and Summer has it all. September and October bring beautiful fall foliage. By December local ski areas begin to open trails that continue until March. 20 minutes to Promised Land State Park, 10 minutes to Ceasar's Cove Haven. There are many antique shops to explore and the area offers everything that you could want in a relaxed lake atmosphere. There is shopping, dining, fishing, swimming,horseback riding, golfing and much more.

Fantastic Vacation Experience!

Me and three friends spent Memorial Day weekend at Briar Hill and had a blast. We grilled all of our meals and hung out on the back deck and front porch until it was time to convene by the fire pit. The hammock also got a ton of use. The neighborhood is wonderfully secluded but literally seconds from a thriving lake based community. The house itself is updated nicely, the big kitchen and living room are great and the basement was a great time. The master bedroom is spacious and has an awesome ensuite bathroom complete with tub. The two bedrooms upstairs are both quaint, but are updated and certainly get the job, plus there's a loft area that can used for sleeping or playing games and anything in between.
I would highly recommend renting this house for your vacation whether you want to just hang around the house and the great wooded property or play in the lake and surrounding community.
We had a great, great time and will be back!
