Gulfview house south of 30-A with beautiful dunes directly in front of house. You can hear and see the Gulf from the house. The house is only 100 steps away from the white 'squeaky' sands and emerald colored waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Dead-end road in residential area gives you a quiet beach retreat with star-filled nights. The 800sq ft of wrap around porches and screened porch provide a great setting for this roomy house.

The first floor has a large wrap around covered porch. The living,well stocked kitchen, and the downstairs master bedroom with a queen bed and bath is on the first floor. The second floor has the master with a huge walkout balcony with king size bed and masterbath with jacuzzi and shower. The second bedroom upstairs has two full size beds with private balcony with private access to the bathroom.

The third bedroom upstairs is a bunkroom with 4 bunks that are extra-long twins. Parking for 6 cars. Pet friendly for small dogs. Ramp at rear of house and 3 ft. wide doors for downstairs bedroom, bath, and living areas for WHEELCHAIR ACCESS. HIGHSPEED INTERNET. SATURDAY TO SATURDAY RENTAL.

About The Owner

I love the water and the beach. Surf fishing or just walking on the beach is a favorite of mine. I like laying on the hammock on the porch with the gulf breeze blowing in my face. I never want to leave the house when I am on the hammock. I also enjoy morning coffee on the front porch listening to the waves. The screened porch is an excellent place to enjoy lunch. Sunset is always an important time of day to go outside on the large master suite with family or friends and enjoy looking at the gulf and watch the sun go down.

Lovely beach house

This is a lovely beach house with a great porch for enjoying the Florida weather! It was only a few houses down from the beach access and the beach was quiet, private and beautiful. We weren't right on the beach but close enough. We had a few small problems - like the television being hit by lightning during a wild Florida thunderstorm. Kerry was instantly receptive to the problem and did everything he could to rectify it. He communicated very well with us. Would totally recommend this house! Also, the fact that we could take our 3 miniature dachshunds was a big plus and they also had a great time!

Great Summer Vacation

A great time was had by all. We had not been to this part of Florida but had heard lots about it. The house was perfect for our family of 5 the kids loved the bunk room!! And the adults loved the upstairs master with the balcony. We had family come and visit us and we had plenty of room and loved that the table could seat all of us for our meals. We enjoyed being outside of Rosemary and away from the crowds at the beach. We had daily bike rides into to RB for our exercise to work off the Sugar Shack purchases. Looking forward to our return trips at Idyle time

GREAT HOUSE!!

Sooo enjoyed your beach house this weekend...even through Tropical Storm LEE! Thank goodness we had great football to watch (RTR!) and the kids had plenty to do! We went down to the lake a couple of days since the ocean was so rough...And wouldn’t you know that today--the day we were leaving...it was gorgeous!! Stayed long enough to go for a 45 minute walk on the beach and sit on the beach for about an hour before heading back to Birmingham. Of course, got home to rain and 60 degrees! Needless to say--we will definitely want to go back to that sweet house!! Thanks again for such great accommodations!

Wonderful beach home at Inlet Beach!

We stayed here with a group of 4 adults and 5 children (15 months to 5 years of age) and had a wonderful time. The house layout is perfect and the house is situated in a perfect location to enjoy the gulf breeze on the front porch. There are two nearby accesses to the beach and there was a shallow inlet within a 5 minute beach walk where our small kids could splash without worrying about the waves. Inlet beach is near other great beach towns with shopping and great restaurants and within 15 minutes of a mall with a movie theater. We had a great experience; Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!

Owner's Response: The house is very open with large rooms and spacious porches. Not only are we a few steps from the Gulf of Mexico but we are located near Lake Powell where you can launch a boat, fish or wakeboard. Pier Park is a open air shopping mall which is located just 15 minutes away with numerous shops, dining and a theater complex. Nearby Rosemary, Seacrest and Carillon Beaches are other great beaches for entertainment, golf, tennis, spas, etc.

I absolutely love this place. While "Idle Time" has a persona all its own, it somehow becomes mine as soon as I walk in the door. I've been staying at "Idle Time" annually for many years and hope to continue the tradition for as long as I'm able! All you need to bring with you are a few clothes; everything else you could possibly need is there. The owners have thought of and provided everything. You won't find nicer furnishings and amenities anywhere. "Idle Time" is adaptable to whatever the size of your party and whatever your needs.
