San Luis Pass is renowned for fishing, boating, shelling and gorgeous beaches. The Family House features a large side and front deck with views of the Gulf and the Bay. The house is currently finishing a complete remodel and ready for rental bookings. The house is beach style, with lots of large windows, and is a short walk to a beautiful, long Texas beach. The house is a 3 bedroom, two bath, and a large 2 queen bed loft. Fully furnished and nicely appointed first floor with a pull out couch, 46' LCD SatTV, DVD, open kitchen, granite counters, nice new appliances, and large washer and dryer. Three full bathrooms, your own bath in the master. Newly remodeled in 2010, and ready to rent as of June 5th. Features Three bedrooms, two queen size beds, one full, two queens in the loft with your own SatTv, and fold out couch. Shelling on along our Texas shores. We have Kayaking, Deep Sea Fishing, Bay Fishing. Galveston has Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, great restaurants, and the Strand.

Notes: The Family House is centrally located in the neighborhood offering great views of the beach and bay. The beach is a short walk away, offering great shelling and shore based fishing. We have a nice comfortable picnic area under the house with a bench swing and horse shoes.

I can't say enough about our experience! The house is spacious with everything that we could need for the kitchen and bathrooms. A short walk to two beaches, very secluded area for a quiet family reunion. We celebrated our son's 5th birthday with friends and family on the beach close to the house and on the patio under the house (bubbles, pinata, pizza, cake and ice cream) - this was the perfect setting for it. Paul was easy to work with, very accommodating. I hope to stay there again next summer.

A home away from home

This was a very beautiful home with lots of space for my family! Plenty of beds, extra sheets, and very clean. The house was well stocked with everything you would need to do laundry, cook at the house, and clean up. We loved the location to the beach and being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean breeze! There are mesquitos around due to the water but the owners have kindly provided the house with some insect yard spray that I would recommend you use the minute you get there. I would recommend this home to all my family and friends and we definitely plan on staying here again!!

Would Definitely Rent Again!!

This beach house is very nice and looks just like the pictures. It was me, my 9-year-old daughter and her best friend and we had a great time. The loft with perfect for the girls, they felt like they had their own space. We stayed for 4 nights and it rained every day, but we walked to the beach a few times and it was so nice to not have lots of people around. When we went to the beach there were 3 or 4 other families. It is a VERY short walk to the beach and there were tons of shells!! Paul was very easy to work with and was helpful with what to do in the area. (Moody Gardens is a definite if you have children!!) Very happy we rented this home since it was so rainy and we weren't able to get out and do much. Can't imagine vacationing near the beach and staying in a hotel!! Already looking at haivng a girl's weekend here and definitely thinking of spending our vacation here next year. I would absolutely recommend this beach house!!!

Great Get Away!

We all loved the house. It had everything we needed and more. It was just a very short walk to the beach. We were there July 5th for a week. It was like having our own private beach area. There was only one other set of people on our beach every time we went. The area is very secluded and I loved that. We especially enjoyed looking for shells every night. Galveston was about a 25 minute drive to our place and we LOVED looking at all the beach houses every time we drove to the city. This house was perfect for our family and we will certainly be back again to this house and location. Two thumbs up, Paul is very awesome to work with.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great Vacation!

This house was perfect! Super clean, great location, and the water and beach were clean and peaceful. The house was very well layed out and accomodated a group of 12 with ease. The kids loved the loft and it was great to have a kitchen and washer/dryer. Paul, the owner was super helpful and answered all my questions. We will be back next year for sure. Our group would highly recommend. The neighborhood and all houses around this property were well maintained and very clean. Thanks for a great vacation!!!
