Custom, completely remodeled 2 bedroom 1 bath Mobile home with large addition, 40 feet from Sandusky Bay. Located in the quiet community of Whites Landing.

All amenities including, central air, full kitchen, dishwasher, washer, dryer, gas grill, Cable TV, DVD/CD player, WI-FI, and outdoor furniture on the 2 decks overlooking picturesque Sandusky Bay.

Will sleep up to 6 people. 1 queen, 2 twin beds and queen sleeper sofa.

Local attractions include: Cedar Point, Marblehead, Put-in-Bay, Kellys Island, plus many more. FREE BOAT SLIP with weekly rental at Bay Harbor Marina, which is located only 400 feet down the street.

We are located on the South West corner of Sandusky Bay between Pickerel Creek and Willow Point wildlife areas.

The Sandusky River is located about 3 miles away. There are many places to visit, Cedar Point, Put- in -Bay, Kellys Island, sand beaches, small town festivals, county fairs, wineries and museums all within an a 20 mile radius.

Or just sit and relax on the cottages two decks, or inside, to watch and listen to the waves 40 feet away.

Take your own boat or PWC's to the Islands, Cedar Point or up the Sandusky River to see nature at it's best including many Bald Eagles. Enjoy a day of fishing, swimming or tubing In Sandusky Bay or Lake Erie.

FREE BOAT SLIP WITH WEEKLY RENTAL at Bay Harbor Marina, which is located only 350 feet down the street.

  • Visa, MC, Disc., Pay Pal Accepted ***DISCOUNT FOR MULTIPLE WEEK RENTALS***
  • During peak summer months, we typically only rent on a weekly basis. This does not always apply to early or late summer or last minute deals. Check or call to see availability. A $45 cleaning fee will be charged for any rental of less than 4 nights.
    RESERVATION DEPOSIT - A reservation deposit of $200 / week is required. This must be received along with a signed lease contract within five (5) days to book the reservation. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; **HOWEVER**, it is refundable, provided the provisions are met after inspection, which are outlined in the lease agreement. Final and full payment must be made thirty (30) days prior to arrival date.
    Credit card payments will incur a 3% service fee.
  • Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of $50. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within (60) days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If the unit can be re-rented for the period reserved, all funds will be returned minus a $50 service fee.

Sunset Cottage lived up to every expectation. The home is immaculately clean and well-maintained. The owners are two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet and always right there if you need anything. The location is off the beaten path so it's quiet and has a slower pace of life but it's centrally located close to lots of activites so you'll never lack things to do. The view of the lake at sunset is spectacular. The bedrooms have plenty of room and closet space. The living area is quite large with a lot of open space and windows that face the lake. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, silverware and cookware. And unlike some rentals, everything works. This is a great getaway place if you want some peace and quiet with more active options like Cedar Point. Take the ferry to one of the islands and do some sightseeing. There are plenty of places to bike. Visit a local winery, there are several nearby. Thomas Edison's birthplace is closeby in Milan and Johnson's Island is off the Marblehead peninsula if you're a history buff.

Beautiful Home!! Picture Perfect View!!

Are you looking for a clean and quite vacation getaway? This is the place!! The pictures do not begin to show how nice and clean this home is. Chris and Mary Lou have included everything you need from board games to cleaning supplies, even a first aid kit! Only thing you will need to bring is your sunscreen, laundry detergent and a few pots and pans. You will not be disappointed with staying with them. Great Communication as well! Received my deposit back within a week!

A great choice!

Our party of four stayed at this lovely home for 3 nights. The owners were truly friendly, courteous and helpful. The views from inside and outside are absolutely fantastic. We had looked into a few different properties in the area, and this one didn't disappoint in both quality and price. The location is extremely quiet, but local enough to all the area's attractions and very easy to find. The home was spotless and affords you nearly any amenity you can think of. Great for people of all ages - we would visit again for sure.

We just spent a fabulous week at this cottage relaxing and enjoying the spectacular views over the bay with the most stunning sunsets! The cottage is the cleanest cottage we've ever rented and is fully equipped with everything you could ever need - from pots to pans to linen and super clean beds. I can guarantee that there's no bed bugs in this place :) We absolutely love this place as it is so peaceful and quiet, yet within easy driving distance to anywhere.

It was perfect for our family of 6. Everything you need for a carefree vacation. Full kitchen, BBQ grill,WiFii,A/C,cable TV.Plenty of room. Short drives to area attractions. Fishing only 50 feet or so from the door. The owners were very helpful with directions to anywhere we wanted to go. A beautiful sunset every evening. Fantastic !
