3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 7 adults comfortably

Beachcomber's Lookout is a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with exceptional views of the beach and bay. Situated in the private community Treasure Island in San Luis Pass. It's close to Galveston, but less crowded than Surfside. Cleanest beach anywhere. No busy roads to cross. Best shell collecting and fishing in the area. Perfect for family vacations, honeymooners, or fishermen. Beachcomber's Lookout is fully furnished and has a new oven and washer/dryer. It will sleep up to 7 adults comfortably, with 2 extra twin mattresses which can be used for additional guests. The 3rd level is the master bedroom with a full bed, very private upstairs with it's own bathroom, HDTV, incredible view and deck. Fire and campsites on the beach are allowed. Firecrackers may be popped on the beach only. Bring the marshmallows and flashlights for nighttime adventures, as well as fun in the sun!

Why Cheri Schlosser chose San Luis Pass

We bought our house after Hurricane Ike repaired the damage to the exterior (House next door collapsed and hit side of house). Interior was also redone.

What makes this house unique

Very private and relaxing part of the beach. Our house is located on the nice beach on the gulf side of the pass. Many of the houses for rent are located on the dangerous pass side of the island and have a rocky shore.

3 bedroom 2 bath house with unobstructed views of the beach and bay. Situated in the neighborhood of Treasure Island at San Luis Pass bridge. Beach House is in a serene area. Only a 30 min beach drive to Galveston. Cleaner and less crowded than Surfside. No busy roads to cross to the beach. Best shell collecting and fishing in the area. Perfect for family vacations, honeymoons, fishermen, bird watchers and star gazers. Our house is fully furnished, new oven and washer/dryer. Sleep seven comfortably and has a very private upstairs bedroom with it's own bathroom, HDTV and deck. WE Have WI-Fi too!

Other Activities: Galveston has bicycle rentals, and horse drawn carriages.

Galveston has a thriving Art community and unique shops on the Strand.

Golf: Moody Gardens Resort Hotel and Golf Course in Galveston is a new course built in 2010. It is only 30 minute drive through West Galveston on the beautiful Blue Water Hwy.

The Galveston Country Club is now totaly private.

Ski: Water ski in the Bay across the street from our house.

Notes: Our house features 3 decks to view the Gulf of Mexico beach and the bay. The 3 bedrooms can sleep 7 very comfortably and can sleep 2 more on pullout beds. There are two bathrooms, and an outdoor shower. There is a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer for convenience. The living room features a l high vaulted ceiling and view of the beach. Escape the hot morning sun by using the high back deck and use the front deck shade in the afternoon. Watch the beautiful sunrises and incredible sunsets over the bay.

The house and views were much more than we all expected! The area is very low-key and it was less crowded than Galveston. Just like she said 100 yds to the beach. Beach was very clean and only draw back which was everywhere not just here mosquitos were swarming, from all the rain they have had! I am sure not a norm. The house was great, equipt with everything you could ask for and more. Very roomy and accommodated all 8 of us very comfortably, although we were outside most of the time for the beautiful views, or on the beach. This was a dream vacation spot for my family, we all were very impressed. We are already planning for another visit. Thank you Cheri & Steve!

Overall, our party had a good time in San Luis Pass - Treasure Island. The seaweed was in masses and a little creepy in the water (all over the SE TX Coast). We loved the beach campfire, easy access, and friendly people. The beach house was clean and fully loaded, but a little dated - I over packed. The owners are friendly and accommdating. Thanks for our pleasant stay at your beach home!

Close to beach and lots of fun

The house had great views on all sides. The subdivision felt friendly and low-key and it was much less crowded than Surfside. Very close to the beach - convenient to walk but parking available also for those hauling lots of gear. Beach wasn't crowded so plenty of room to spread out. The house was very nice and easily accommodated 7 people, but we spent most of our time outside or on one of the decks. Excellent spot for a beach vacation! Thanks Cheri!
