Legacy 2302

My Wife, 21 year-old daughter, her boyfriend, and my 11 year-old son enjoyed our recent stay over Memorial Day weekend 2012. The owner and staff were extremely helpful in scheduling our reservation and provided timely information and directions to the villa. This clean and well-maintained villa is stocked with amenities (washer, dryer, full kitchen, stove, microwave, internet) and provided a very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere for the 5 of us. The property is located right across Beach Drive adjacent to the Legacy towers, taking us about 5 minutes to walk and start building sand castles on the beach. Most of the local attractions are well within driving distance to the Legacy Units. We enjoyed taking everyone to Shaggy's for a Beachfront dinner. (Gotta get the Keylime pie). McElroy's restaurant, a bit further east was good but slow. My wife and I had a nice, romantic date night at North Beach Restaurant at Bay St. Louis (call for reservations if you want outdoor balcony seating). Bay St. Louis has a great local feel to it with many small shops showcasing local crafts and antiques. Our 11-year old took us go-cart riding and putt-putt golfing and the daughter and boyfriend went jet-skiing. The beach wasn't overcrowded during our stay and there are more populated areas if you drive a bit. Several Casinos are 15-20 minutes away including Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. I would recommend this location to a friend. It was very family friendly and in a section of beach that was fairly quiet but had access to activities (putt-putt, go-carts, sailing, jet-skiing, volleyball). Would've liked to have checked out a few of the Italian restaurants with good reviews around area and had a bit clearer water for snorkeling so we will have to return in the future! Thanks again Ed, Bettye, Richard, Diane, George, Jodie, and staff!
