Centered between St. George, Hurricane, and Cedar City areas, with golf courses close by. Zions National Park and Snow Canyon 35 minutes and other National Parks and attractions ( such as Las Vegas and Brian Head Ski Resort ) with-in 1 - 2 hour drive. Close to St. George shopping and activities as well as Cedar City Festivals such as Shakesperean and other events. Whether you wish to just lay around the pool (in season), or do sight seeing and other activities, a stay here will be a pleasant one. You are out of the snow in the Winter months and can golf one day, and then be up to Brianhead playing in the snow the next day. ( They have special snow board parks and a tubing run there as well as night skiing ) If you haven't experienced the wonders of Southern Utah, you have been missing a lot of pleasure and diversity.   • One Clean-up on departure is included in prices - $50 - $ 100Refundable Security Deposit Required
  • A $50 refundable security deposit is required on 2 -4 night stays and a $80 deposit is required on week stays for clubhouse key and misc. Longer term rentals proportional. This deposit is refundable when housekeeping cleans and inspects the premises upon your departure. $450 Weekly Special Nov 1 to Dec 31 excludes Holiday Weekends.
    ALL PRICES INCLUDE TAXES.
  • CANCELLATION POLICIES: If your cancellation is made and the unit can be rented out to someone else, you will receive the entire amount paid less a $30 processing fee. If the unit is not rented out in your stead and we loose the booking time, you will still be given a rain check and be allowed to use, or even have someone with written permission from you use, your time at another time with-in 18 months (that is available) of your original arrival date. If cancellation is due to a cause of Southern Solitude's or property owners fault or reason ( such as a mistake in booking, fire or other damage happening to property, or sale of property, Southern Solitude will refund your original amount paid plus a maximum additional 25% of money received to date from the renting party. By making this reservation you agree to the terms and conditions as listed on this website.

Jerry is always trying to please and help, it was a pleasure to deal with him. He sent us some information on all the activities in the area to help us plan our trip. The house is very comfortable. I would recommend this place.

This is a very nice little vacation rental with all the comforts of home. It is close to Quail Creek, Sand Hollow and Zion's National Park. The club house and pool are fantastic and the owner was great to work with. We would gladly stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect location, home has everything we required!

Jerry was very accomodating to our needs. He even had a little packet of visitor info for us. We had no problem finding the place and when we entered the home everything was clean, comfy and inviting. We spent a day in Zions and it was so nice to come home and relax our tired muscles in the jacuzzi. The community is quiet yet friendly. Next time we hope to give ourselves time to enjoy the nice gas grill outside. We made sure we tried out the pool and hot tub and even the little putting green! Very pleasant place to stay.

Truly a home away from home!

My husband and I stayed at Southern Solitude in Hurricane UT for four nights. The owners were very helpful when making the arrangements. The packet they sent had lots of inofrmation about things to do and see in the area. It is a beautiful 25 minute drive to Zion National Park. Nothing we minded at all. The home was clean, well maintained, in a good location to the National and State parks, and had everything we needed! We especially appreciated the laundry room in the house after our days of hiking and biking in Zion and our day of off-roading at Sand Hollow State Park! Even at the end of March we were able to sit out by the pool and use the outdoor hot tub that is part of the community. We enjoyed eating at the Bit and Spur, Cafe Soleil and at Oscar's Cafe in Springdale- just outside Zion National Park. All were tasty and reasonably priced for the dining. We also liked having the grocery store (Wal-Mart) nearby. We grilled out at the house a couple of times. We rented a tandem bike in Springdale from Zion Cycles and our ATV was from Southern Utah Adventure Center in Hurricane. Both were easy to work with and very professional. We will definitley recommend this home to friends and will return to Southern Solitude when we return to southern Utah!
