My husband Steve and I fell in love with the Cape many years ago. We found ourselves drawn back time after time, driving through the night with our two boys still in their pajamas in the back seat looking forward to the relaxing days by the beach we would spend together.
Five years ago we decided to make Cape Cod our home. I am still discovering new and beautiful places, and smile when I drive along Route 6A past the rambling roses and hydrangeas bursting with blooms. I look forward to the changes that each new season brings. The long, lazy days of Summer... the color of the leaves in Fall and the crackling sound of the first fire in our fireplace. The beauty and tranquility of the first snowfall in winter, and waking up one morning after a long Spring rain and noticing that all is green again.
We found our little cottage by the sea and spent the winter of 2010 designing and building our vision of the perfect Cape Cod get-away. Having rented before, we wanted to create a place where you could relax, unwind and enjoy from the minute you arrived. I hope you too will have many happy memories of sun-filled days and starlit nights and find as many reasons to fall in love with Cape Cod as we did!

My mother and I visited Cape Cod to visit my family and stayed at this adorable cottage during this record breaking winter. It is in a great location by the beach & harbor, quick access to the village for some groceries, a 5 minute drive to Hyannis. We truly loved our stay and will be using this as our home base when visiting family in the future. We would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone.
My husband and i came from New York stayed for Columbus weekend. Even though Cape Cod is more in season for summer, there was still so much to do and not enough time. We LOVED the Cottage, it was VERY clean, well kept, organized and the decor inside was amazing (Well done Eva).
We felt at home as soon as we walked in, and we had Brownies waiting for us from Eva :)
The location was great, we were close to everything.
I would recommend this cottage to anyone going to Cape Cod.
We came from the UK for our first visit to Cape Cod with our teenage daughters and loved our time at Eva and Steve's cosy and beautiful cottage. It felt like a home from home, with all the lovely creative work they have put in to make a special place for a holiday. We especially enjoyed kayaking from the harbour, walking to the sandy beaches and relaxing on the sand with fabulous views, whale watching (leaving from the harbour), early morning walks along the shoreline, playing card games in the secluded gardens and trying out the seafood at the local eating places. Eva was so helpful beforehand in recommending places to go. Barnstable Market had all we needed for groceries and we enjoyed being able to walk there for shopping in the day and for eating at night.
Great house at a great location. This house was perfect for our family vacation. It's a short walk to the beach, and the house is well-maintained and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need to cook quick meals. Eva was super helpful, friendly, and responsive. We were greeted with a nice welcome basket upon arrival, and there was just the right information in the info packet left in the house to get settled with our 2.5 yr old and 6 yr olds. We had a great time!
We loved our home away from home in Cape Cod. We arrived at the cottage to find homemade cupcakes and lemonade waiting for us. The little cottage is darling! It is comfortable, decorated in a cute beachy theme and squeaky clean. It is a short, one block walk from the beautiful Millway Beach. There are beach chairs for your use, coolers, beach bag, a washer and dryer- so many handy things! The town of Barnstable and the neighboring town of Yarmouth are the perfect, idyllic Cape Cod towns with a cute market, yummy ice cream and several restaurants.
The owner, Eva, was very responsive to my emails, giving us great suggestions for local restaurants and activities. We felt like we were in the perfect part of Cape Cod and absolutely loved our stay! We wish we could have stayed longer!!
This cottage is no barren, just-the-basics beach hideaway. It's stocked with little treasures you'll find throughout your stay and is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated so that you'll feel at home immediately. The bathroom is stocked with everything you'd need from children's bubble bath and no-swallow toothpaste, to Q-tips, a razor, a comb, shampoo... In the kitchen we found mixes for cookies, a bag full of snacks, a bouquet of fresh flowers and a lobster pot. This being our first trip to Cape Cod Eva and Stephen were great resources for local haunts and special spots near and far on the cape. The beach at the end of the street was a fascinating spot to study the life of the sea. I found a huge oyster without any digging and lots of beautiful rocks.
