This beautiful and pristine home in Towamensing Trails is located within walking distance to Towamensing Lake, less than 10 minutes to Big Boulder/Jack Frost and about 20 minutes to Camelback. The lake is a crystal clear 195 acre stocked lake with boat rentals available. There is a beach with a restaurant, pool, and playground right there! The clubhouse has a game room with video games and pool tables. We are also located three blocks from the basketball courts, tennis courts, and marina. The home features a spacious two-story living room with a stone fireplace, brand new couches, and a 50' plasma TV. The kitchen is modern, large, and fully stocked. There is a large deck with a new grill and patio furniture. Horseshoes for adults and a children's set too! A game room with bumper pool, foosball, electronic darts and bubble hockey. Loft with a futon and TV with plug and play video games. There is a TV in every bedroom! We offer digital cable, wireless internet, and much more!

Perfect Family House!: Great house for kids and adults of every age!!! The front of the house is great for the adults to hang out on the porch and the little ones to play in the large circular driveway. We have a crib in the master bedroom, and if you need a high chair - just ask - we will be keeping one in storage there! Older kids will love the game room and the loft with the plug -n- play video games, which include Pac-Man, Pole Position, Galaxian, Golden Tee Golf, Wheel of Fortune, Deal or No Deal, as well as for the little ones..Scooby Doo, Bob the Builder, and Elmo.

Perfect Getaway!: The development is quiet, and serene. The back deck is private and includes patio furniture for six and a gas grill. Enjoy the wildlife such as wild turkey and deer. The deer will hang out right in front of you!! Come in the summer/spring and fall to enjoy the lake, hiking trails, horseback riding, rafting, and much much more. Also about 30 minutes away from the shopping outlets and casinos. In the winter come to ski the great Jack Frost/Big Boulder Mountains - only about 10 minutes away!!

We had a pleasant stay and would rent it again

I stayed here with some friends over Memorial Day weekend, and our group included 5 couples and 5 young children ages 1-4. All the families said they had a great time, and that the house was very comfortable. People of all ages particularly enjoyed the scooters in the garage. We had to make some adjustments to make the house safer for the little kids, such as moving the futon away from the railing in the loft, but that wasn’t a problem.

As for what to pack, other renters might like to know that even though you need to bring your own linens, this just means sheets and towels. Comforters are provided. For families with small children, there are a highchair and Pack'n Play in the closet of the smaller upstairs bedroom. The kitchen had almost everything we needed, but there weren't any casserole dishes or other bakeware.

Terri was very responsive and the rental agreement was clear. Overall we had a great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed your home! The decor is so warm and welcoming we felt like we were home rather than in a rental. We truly appreciated the cleanliness as well. I think it is the first rental we did not wipe down with clorox wipes upon entry. The kids already requested that it be our ski house next year!

The only suggestion I have is to consider providing a tea kettle. We could not find one, but simply used a pot. It was not a problem. Thank you for sharing your beautiful and very comfortable home!

Great family getaway

We were three couples with small children and we really enjoyed our stay here.
* The house is really clean, the furniture is very well maintained and each room has its own personality.
* The pictures are a good representation of the house; however the house is even nicer in person.
* The kitchen is fully stocked and there is plenty of seating for a large crowd.
* This house really caters to kids, they have board games galore and there are toys in the garage, plus there are a few children’s bikes.
* Teri was really easy to deal with
* The community is really quiet; there is a nice lake and a pool. The lake has a little beach with a volleyball court and a little kids play area. There are also tennis and basketball courts. It's about a 5 min drive to the pool area and 3 min to the basketball / tennis area
* The pool table is actually a "Bumper pool" table

Downers:
* Pool area doesn’t have chairs, you need to bring a beach towel
* The community doesn’t allow bonfires

Great vacation spot

This was a lovely home in a quiet setting with all of the amenities that you would want. There was plenty to do , including taking advantage of the nearby pool,clubhouse,and lake. It was also close to Hickory Run State Park and historic Jim Thorpe. The accommodations were outstanding!The home was spotless and we enjoyed watching the deer in the back yard. There was a TV in every room and the kitchen was well-stocked. We would recommend it to everybody. It provided a wonderful getaway for our family.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
