Comfortable 2 story Townhouse located in Historic Le Droit Park. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 furnished with Queen sized beds, the third with a double sized futon sofa. There are 1.5 baths, tiled, with granite counter tops and vessel sinks, modern kitchen with full sized stainless appliances, granite counter tops and all cooking/dining utensils. The first floor includes a large bright living room and sitting room, both with TV/Cable/DVD. Wireless Internet is provided throughout the property. The property is centrally air-conditioned/heated, has laundry facilities and on street parking. In warmer weather, guests have exclusive use of the fenced in back yard, with deck and garden.

Closest Metro access is 4 blocks at the Shaw/Howard University Station, with access to the Green and Yellow Lines. One stop on the Metro is the Washington Convention Center, 2 more stops brings you to the National Mall at the Natural History and American History Museums of the Smithsonian.

Had a nice 4 night stay at Le Droit Townhouse (2 parents and 3 teenagers). Grocery store a little far, but everything else was perfect!

We rented the house in July 14 for one week. It was a great location for a family of five. The metro was close by but we found driving much easier and convenient.The home itself was large enough for all of us, decorated nicely and had all the eminities of home. The owners as well as the management company were very helpful and kind. We had a great time despite the heat wave. The only thing I would say as a heads up to those thinking of traveling here is that the neighborhood is up and coming. Although the home itself is in an established neighborhood a couple blocks around the hospital is not as nice. While there are grocery stores close by you really would benefit from having a car.

I went to Washington with two colleagues for a conference. Renting this home was much cheaper than renting hotel rooms. The house offers plenty of room, a nice terrace and is well located (about 20-25 min walk to downtown, 5 min walk to the closest metro station). We were very pleased with the house and the service of the landlord who was very kind and quick answering our requests. Without hesitation I would recommend this place!

Wonderful attentive owner, clean large home and nice area

My wife and two sons (8 & 10) spent a week here and absolutely loved it. The home is clean, comfortable and roomy. The outdoor private courtyard is a wonderful place to relax. Having a fully functioning kitchen saved us a lot of money for meals. The home had ample room. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay. I would definitely stay here again.
