Photos and Description of the Zakynthos (Zante) vacation house rental

Psarou is set in about 3000 m2 of grounds mostly covered with about 80 orange & lemon trees, ideal for whenever you need a gin & tonic. The house is set high up & the rear terrace is both sheltered by olive trees, & has views over the lemon trees to the neighbouring island of Cephalonia. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, a double & two twins, a shower room & three balconies, whilst on the ground floor there is another shower room, a fully fitted kitchen & a large living/dining room, complete with CD player & satellite TV. Both showers are fitted with Grohe showers & have been finished in white marble. Stairs lead from the front of the house down to your private 8 x 4 metre pool.

Psarou is set in a small hamlet, inhabited only by Greeks, just off the road to the hill top village of Meso Gerakariou. The nearby 'blue flag' beach is frequented mainly by Greeks and is both sandy and shallow, so perfect for smaller children. It's separated into two sections, both of which have their own bars serving snacks or drinks. There is a well stocked supermarket just down the road and across from that is a butchers and taverna. There are also several other tavernas scattered nearby. Whilst the area around Psarou is quiet the nearby resort areas of Tsilivi/Planos and Alykes/Alykanas are only about 10 minutes away and have more then enough bars and discos to keep any younger visitors amused.
