Nob Hill Apartment Rental Photos and Description

1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, 2 queen sofa beds, Sleeps 6 (3 queen sized beds total)

This is probably the highest-rated vacation rental in all of San Francisco. As of this writing (April 2014) this property has been rated a perfect 5 star by 159 guests in only 4 years as a vacation rental (with not a single rating of less than 5 stars). We don't think any other property in the City can match that record of guest reviews. Please read all of our past-guest reviews!

This is the vacation rental that doesn't seem like a vacation rental. Many of our guests have said this is the finest vacation rental they have ever stayed in! We love hearing that from our guests, as that is our goal here!

Romantic & Spacious this is the first floor unit of a historic 1907 two-apartment residence on the very top of Nob Hill. It has approximately 1,250 square feet with high 9.5 ceilings throughout. The property has been remodeled to the highest standard with new gourmet kitchens, stunning marble bathrooms, designer furniture, expensive chandeliers, tasteful artwork, period antiques, and flat screen television sets (2 per unit). This is the quintessential San Francisco experience - walking distance to North Beach, Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square shopping, downtown, Polk Street, the Marina District, etc.

Property has views of the Bay, including the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island, and Berkeley.

FREE parking is included during your stay - parking is otherwise very hard to find on Nob Hill and is usually quite expensive in this location.

This property has a beautiful private formal flower garden, including charming night lighting.

Location is Perfect for Tourism: This property is located at the top of historic Nob Hill. You can't get a better location in San Francisco - walking distance to shopping (Union Square), Chinatown, Russian Hill, Grace Cathedral, The Fairmont Hotel, Fisherman's Wharf, Little Italy, North Beach, the Marina District, Polk Street, the Cable Car Museum, and much more.

FREE Parking - a rarity on Nob Hill: FREE Parking is available upon request. Parking in San Francisco is very hard to find... especially in this central location.

Walk To Food Stores and Restaurants: This property is one block from Le Beau Nob Hill - a charming food market which sells everything you will need. It is two blocks from Grace Cathedral and the park atop Nob Hill. You will also be one block to a charming restaurant (the Nob Hill Cafe) as well as other great restaurant choices.

This is a very special property that found me (rather than the other way around). I have lovingly restored it to 'better than new' with all kinds of beautiful upgrades. Yet the original personality of this home remain intact - as does the original 1907 San Francisco-style woodwork & trim. I am happy to share my home with you, as the VRBO experience has been wonderful - I've met so many nice people and have enjoyed helping them make their trip to San Francisco memorable.

James Hickman purchased this apartment in 2006

This is my home and I feel very, very lucky to live here - it is historic, fully remodeled, and very beautiful. The property selected me (life can be like that), rather than the other way around. I am lucky to live here and happy to share this property with you. You are sure to want to come back again and again!

Historic 1907 San Francisco architecture. Approximately 1,250 square feet with high 9.5 foot ceilings. Ornate original trim in each room - very San Francisco! FREE reserved parking outside of your door - a total rarity in this location. Best SF location for tourism.. and SF's most historic neighborhood. Views. Large private flower garden shared with only one other unit - a perfect place for a meal or a glass of wine.
