This is a brand new house and it is a jewel, beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. The owners of this house have thoughtfully designed, built and completely furnished it with area visitors and tourists in mind. The house is ideally located on the quaint west side of East Glacier Park within easy walking distance of everything. It is nestled in a stand of lodge pole pines in a very secluded and quiet part of town with lots of privacy and all of the splendor of Glacier National Park right out the back door! Mountain vistas galore.

Wrapped around the front of the house is a 300 sq ft deck including deck furniture for lounging. In the spacious yard is a fire pit and barbeque. The inside of the house is log, wood paneling, wood flooring, slate and granite with all new furniture and appliances. There are two bedrooms downstairs each with one luxurious queen size bed and a separate flat screen satellite TV.

Going up a beautiful log spiral staircase is a spacious loft with two additional queen beds. The modern kitchen is functionally designed with granite topped counter and island, full sized stove and refrigerator as well as an over the stove microwave/convection oven. The living room has two comfortable recliner couches with a total of four recliners and a large flat screen satellite TV.

The bathroom has a large walk-in slate shower with multiple shower heads, granite topped vanity and stackable clothes washer and dryer. The house is completely furnished with dishes, kitchen utensils, linens, iron and ironing board. Free housekeeping service is included and a free continental breakfast. Free, secure WiFi and telephone with free long distance. House sleeps a maximum of eight.

Walk to restaurants, shops, golfing, fishing, hiking trails, bus tours and horse riding. Car rentals, the Amtrak Station, churches and all services are available in town. East Glacier Park is the gateway town to the spectacular east side of Glacier National Park, where a full range of recreational opportunities await. Short rides will take you to magnificent scenery, wildlife viewing, boat rides on mountain lakes, hiking trails, picnic areas, sunsets, sunrises and alpenglow in the Two Medicine, St. Mary's and Many Glacier Valleys. Going to the Sun Highway, one of the most famous roads in the world, follows up St. Mary's Valley, over the Continental Divide surrounded by breathtaking vistas of snow capped peaks, mountain glaciers, circ lakes and the Garden Wall. Grizzly bears, mountain goats, mountain sheep, elk and moose are commonly seen right from the road.

The Park offers guided nature walks and evening programs at many locations. Lots of restaurants, shopping, information centers and other services are available all along the way. At the end of your day relax on your deck in the cool fresh mountain air. Nightlife can be found in town for those so inclined.

We are fourth generation farmers in Montana and we love to go to the mountains on our time off. The lot in East Glacier Park where we built our vacation home has been in our family since 1926. It was purchased by my Grandfather and Great Uncle who were working for the Park during the depression days of farming. They worked as mechanics on the Park tour buses also known as 'Jammers'. The opportunity presented itself for my wife and I to build a vacation home on this lot for our family to enjoy for generations. However, being farmers and not being able to enjoy the house during the busy summer months, we thought it would be nice to share such a beautiful Park and town with others. It is our hope that they will be able to build family memories in our vacation home just as we plan to do for years to come.

DEEP IN GLACIER NATIONAL Park the Two Medicine valley and Two Medicine Lake(20 min from East Glacier Park), a circ lake surounded by spectacular mountain peaks and valleys backing up against the Continental Divide, offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities. Hiking trails in all directions for all levels of hikers, boat rides, boat rentals, swimming, fishing, photography, gift shop, wildlife viewing, huckleberry picking and evening programs. This is one of the most beautiful and unique areas of the Park. If nothing else, take a ride up to Two Medicine Lake, sit on a bench and experience the incredible presence of these massive mountains and breath in the fresh mountain air. It's heaven. Don't miss it! Visitors come from all over the world to check it out. Some say it's more impressive than the Swiss Alps.

We absolutely enjoyed every second of our stay. The accommodations were way beyond our expectations. We had 4 children that loved sleeping in the loft. Each couple had there own bedroom. The wonderful people who checked us in we're so thoughtful and helpful. They were more than generous with breakfast or anything else we needed. The cabin was in a great area we could walk to the few small quaint resturants and the horseback riding stables. (Which was also terrific-a must do!). Thanks to everyone at the Dancing Bears Inn!
