Welcome to 9 Wisteria Lane (featured in a USA Today article comparing it favorably to the Wisteria Lane in the TV show Desperate Housewives), is located in the middle of a subtropical and picturesque setting of Greenwood Forest in the heart of Sea Pines Plantation…just off the Sea Pines bike trails and just a short bike ride to the beach, Harbor Town, and South Beach Village.

We have all the features and comforts you’ll need to have a relaxing vacation and enjoy the natural beauty of Hilton Head Island.

Our home is located across the street from the 5th fairway and 6th tee box of the Harbour Town Golf Link -We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do!

As a guest in Greenwood Forest, you’ll have access to our private, recently renovated neighborhood pool, play area, and tennis court. You’ll also have free access to Sea Pines’ Beach Club - Renovated in 2014.

The restaurants and shops of South Beach Marina and the Calibogue Sound lie to the southwest. Walk, bike, or drive to the championship golf courses, tennis courts, or beaches. Walk to the Harbour Town golf links, home of the Heritage pro tour golf tournament. Walk or bike to the Sea Pines Racquet Club, former host of the Family Circle Tennis tournament - and run by Stan Smith. Walk to the Sea Pines Center for your morning coffee, croissant, and newspaper.

Enjoy the amenities of the Sea Pines Beach Club. The Beach Club has full facilities including clean restrooms, showers, an outdoor bar and grill, and nightly entertainment. The hard white sand is ideal for beachcombing, jogging, dog walks, volleyball, paddleball, and 'building castles in the sand.'

We have arrangements with Riding Tigers Bike Rentals to obtain discounted pricing on bike rentals for our guests. Simply call them at 843-686-5833 and ask for the discount. They offer free delivery, locks and baskets as well.

The new pricing layout by vrbo.com does not allow for personalization. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, Easter and Heritage fall into the same fee structure of Peak Season. Our family moved to Cumming, Ga after living in Johns Creek, Ga. for 16 years. Born and raised in Atlanta, graduated from Georgia Tech.

Why Carla Lundy chose Sea Pines

We were vacationing with friends who owned a home in Sea Pines. We loved it so much we decided to buy a home for ourselves to enjoy. We love the natural setting, wonderful white sandy beaches and miles and miles of bike trails. It is such a relaxing environment. My son loves to skim board and boogie board at the beach. One of the dogs loves visiting Lawton Stables. There is never a dull moment!

What makes this house unique

We actually purchased this home as a second home with no intentions of renting. We finally realized we just are not able to visit as often as we would like so we decided to share our home with others. We have updated most of the home. Our home feels larger than the acutal square footage. Very Spacious bedrooms. It is a great home and it is very centrally located in Sea Pines. We are not the biggest or the closest to the beach but we do offer an excellent vacation value. We visit several times a year. We are proactive homeowners so this is our home not just a rental. We hope enjoy our home as much as we do!

Mellow Mushroom – subs were delicious



* Fat Baby’s Pizza – Neopolitan and BBQ chicken were the best pizza we’ve had on the island yet



*Bully’s BBQ – dry rub ribs were very tasty – overall it probably tasted better than One Hot Mama’s.



*@ Savannah – Joe’s Homemade – out of this world – totally and completely worth the drive. Get soup, sandwich and dessert – you won’t regret it.



One Hot Mama’s – of course ;) Wings were the best and being surrounded by Pats fans helped.



Reilly’s – steaks were good but service was sub-par and it was super loud



Frosty Frog – Hurricane and Strawberry Shortcake were as expected



*Michael Anthony’s – superb and top ranked for a reason



*CharBar – by far – in 5 years at HHI -- best meal ever (Champ Burger) – I will dream of this taste until April. They are headed to Vegas for a national competition – I expect they’ll win!



*@ Charleston – Brown Dog Deli – worth it completely & dog friendly.



*Sam Miguels in Shipyard – definitely the best margarita and the best entertainment – enough food to take home half







For fun we did the *Ariel Adventure at Hilton Head Zipline. It was a lot of work that we were not prepared for but super fun and scary all at the same time. We did not do the black runs – just green and blue – maybe black next year – or maybe we’ll just zip again (it’s easier!).



*Bluffton Arts & Seafood festival – blew us away with size and variety. Enjoyed a frozen custard and sausage ((from different places – don’t remember which places though!)) but the sausage had us tasting the ones we have on Yawkee Way before a RedSox game (very well done)



*SeaPines Beach Bar – cool setting though $$$$ for drinks



*Buffalo Run (10k in Palmetto Bluff) and *Bluffton Arts & Seafood Festival 5k – really enjoyable events and well organized



*Carolina Cupcakes (HHI Store) – OMG – do NOT skip this place. Their chocolate chip cookie cupcake / dessert is drool worthy



Columbus Day sales at Tanger Outlets are NOT as good as Veteran’s Day sales but there were a few bargains to be had

Perfect stay

My family stayed the week of March 28, 2015 in this perfect vacation home. Every detail has been thought of by the owner which made our vacation worry free. We were thrilled to bring our two dogs and were so impressed with how clean this pet friendly home was. The fenced in back yard was a huge bonus. Carla is wonderful to deal with and makes herself available to answer any questions. We fully recommend this house to anyone and hope to be back again next year.

Wonderful House and Neighborhood

We were very happy with our choice of get-away. The house was well equipped with everything one would need.- bedding, towels, kitchen and storage area. Carla, the owner was very helpful whenever we talked and followed up after we arrived. The house is well maintained and furnished perfectly for a vacationers needs. There were DVD's and books for your use. The fenced in yard was very handy for the dogs, but there were many nice places to take them for walks right from the house. The neighborhood was very friendly and convenient to the bike paths, beach, Sea Pine Center and Harbor Town. I would highly recommend this property to others. We look forward to our return next year.

Warm and Inviting!

We were very fortunate to recently "escape" to 9 Wisteria Lane for some post-holiday R & R and much-needed sunshine. While we travel to Hilton Head at least a few times a year, this was our first visit to Carla's property, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The house is cozy, but surprisingly spacious. The interior is tastefully appointed, yet warm and comfortable, and we were especially delighted with the beautiful upgrades to the kitchen and bathrooms. The bed was very luxurious and hotel-quality, as were all linens, towels, etc. We were also very impressed with how clean and meticulous everything was, the lack of any personal clutter, yet the thoughtful anticipation of any and every amenity we could have needed, including beach chairs and umbrella, great books and DVD's, and even things like detergent, kitchen supplies and a first aid kit! The fenced in yard was a terrific bonus for our dog, and the location of the house is outstanding...quiet and tranquil, yet convenient to the bike trails, Sea Pines Center (and Truffles and Guiseppe's!), and only a short run or bike ride to the beach. Also only a short bike or car ride to the grocery store, movie theater, and the always exciting "Barmuda Triangle" and Reilly's!!! Carla was most helpful and professional throughout the process, and was kind enough to check in to ensure that everything was in order and up to our expectations. It is without reservation that we recommend this outstanding property, and we can't wait for an opportunity to return!

Golden Get Away

9 Wisteria was neat & nicely decorated, very comfortable (especially the beds) and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was very convenient. We were so happy that our golden retriever was permitted to stay with us and the bonus was the fenced back yard. We had several sunny days that we were able to take our dog to the beach off leash. Thanks to Carla, we & Samson had a great winter get-away in Hilton Head.

Two Excellent Weeks!

We can't speak highly enough about Carla's home... again! We've been visiting Sea Pines for 5 years, have stayed at Carla's for the last 3 and have already booked 2015. Her home is so clean, comfortable, accessible, and easy to stay in. Everything is essentially new yet Carla continues to tweak details and make it even better. It's honestly a place you can truly relax in a nice quiet neighborhood. Our dog loves all the windows and keeping her yard squirrel (and this year turtle!) free. Central location make it easy access to both gates, the beach, and golf courses. Should you have a question, Carla is quick to respond. We spent two weeks this year and came home truly refreshed. Great beach weather, golf, walking path, shopping and dog park adventures helped too! New restaurants for us that we would go back to again include Charbar Co., Bully's, San Miguel's, & Fat Baby Pizza. We took part of local community events, completed Ariel Adventure courses, and had side day trips to Savannah and Charleston. The dog-friendliness of HHI makes it a true 'family' place. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and looking forward to our next visit!
