Elevator at this condo is terrible
Judy, the owner is a great lady to work with. The condo however has several issue. 1st, the elevator, everyone visit at this time complained about it. It is almost impossible to use it. In the less peak time, it take at least 10-15 minutes for you to get into one. Elevators are packed at all time, most of the time you just have to get on to it doesn't matter if it go up or down so that you can be sure to get a change to go to where ever you wanted to go. On my check out date, I could not get on with my luggage cart. I waited and waited for more than an hour and still not able to get in (every time the elevator stop .... it is always full of people up to the door you just could not squeeze in. My wife decided to go in herself without our luggage and it take her more than 15 minutes to get down to the 2nd floor from our 12 floor) I finally have to use the stairs to bring my luggage down, one by one take me several trips to finish the task. This is a horrible experience.
The condo itself, need to be clean better. When I checked in, the bed sheet still very dirty, some spot on the sheet look like left over drip from someone. the reserved blanket and sheet are also not clean, when open it, I found a very soiled and dirty sock on it. I have to go buy the detergent and took the rest of my check in day to wash all towels and sheets before use some of them. I tried to look for a vacuum machine to clean the floor but it wasn't available. I rented a DVD to watch at night but the DVD was not hook in correctly, the DVD would play but it did not connected to the TV, I could have reconnect it to make it work but I afraid it would change something so I did not do so. Pot and pan need to update (the non stick pan was peeled up so much I could not use it). wall paint was not good, you can see the different on the wall pattern.
The weather in Panama City Beach at time when I am there was great, beautiful water... but it is hard to get a spot on the beach to put your umbrella because Tidewater Condo decided to take all of their front beach and put up rental chair there (I do not know how much they charge but 40-50 is what I hear from peoples) You do not get a good spot even if you rent one because they are 4-5 layer deep. If you want a front row, come very early in the morning and get in line and wait until they are open they do not let you reserve ahead.
I wish I have a better experience but I did not. Sorry this is a bad review. But It is what I got.
