Fantastic stay at the Printers Alley Lofts - centrally located and easy walking distance to major eating establishments which includes all the sites in the Broadway entertainment district. Can't wait for my return visit - Nashville is the BEST!!
What an absolutely wonderful location!!! Thank you to Gary, Melody and Darold for everything! We will definitely stay with you again! Can't wait to see the renovations you are going to do!
What a find! The Printers Alley Lofts are located in the heart of Nashville, close to entertainment and the Music City Center... which is where I spent most of my time, at a conference. The suite was a perfect size, with free internet and space to relax. It was a few short blocks walk to the Music City Center, restaurants, bars... I had a great lunch at Pub 5 and delicious breakfast at Puckett's grocery.
The suite was full of amenities (soda and water and treats for purchase... like a mini bar), and cute locally made soaps and treats available for purchase.
The suite was clean and if I had any questions, the staff was ready with an answer. I would come back to stay for a long weekend. Great place... great location and great staff. Thanks for a fab stay!
The apartment was immaculate and expansive. Much more than I really needed for a trip, but was so happy to have. Everything was exceptionally smooth from the booking process, to check in, and check out. It's so convenient right in the heart of printers alley so you can walk to downtown and museums nearby. Though it's right across from Bourbon street bar and on a busy laneway the apartment was very quiet and relaxing. Also having a parking spot was so great given the expensive and difficult parking situation in downtown nashville. I can't wait to come back to the city and stay in the printers alley lofts again.
Well, I don't know what happened to my original review, but the two I put in for the Studio and Flat showed up, so I should do this again because this is the one that had all the info. We loved this place. It was very convenient to everything downtown. Melody was easy to communicate with when deciding we wanted to stay here, and Darrold was great meeting us and explaining everything. We booked the 3 rooms on the same floor and he made the combo lock access all the same numbers so we could easily go in and out of each room, no keys needed. Which is funny because then when we moved to our hotel in Clarksville to attend a wedding on Sat night, none of us took our keys! The rooms were even better in person than the pictures show. It was great having so much space. Thought it would be weird with the tub/shower right in the room, but the screens in from were great. They thought of everything you could need, from q-tips, cotton balls, blow dryers and stuff to plenty of towels! When we first go there I thought the alley would be creepy, but it definitely wasn't. I loved the lights at night. We did go to Bourbon Street, it was great inside, the singer was very good, and I'm not a huge blues fan, prefer actual country. The beds were very comfortable as were the couches in 2 of the rooms, the couches in the Studio were only OK. Showers were great! There was parking available underground around the corner, very convenient. My husband loved the late night hot dog stand in the alley. I wish we would have gone in the Karaoke place, but ran out of time, can't do everything! My one daughter is 19, so that kind of limited some of our things to do. If there is smoking in a place, under 21 not allowed! Never heard of that! We did find a few places that let us in. Melody had plenty of info in the lofts about different things in the area in a binder in each room, very helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we got back to Nashville. Doesn't even compare to staying in a hotel and for the money, can't be beat! Thanks for a great few days!
We were going to a wedding in Clarksville and decided to take a trip to Nashville for 3 nights before. We are myself, husband, 2 daughters (19 & 21), sister and brother-in-law. We booked 3 of the lofts, this one (Suite), the Flat and the Studio. They are all on the same floor and Darrold, the manager made all the codes the same which made it convenient for us to go from room to room and we loved not having to worry about a key or bothering anyone else nearby. The rooms are great, the pictures are almost exact, but better in person. We felt the beds were very comfortable. My girls used the blow-up also and said it was good. The couches in the Flat and Suite were comfy, the Studio only so-so. Great TVs in each room, but we didn't watch much. Just the Hawks' hockey game!! They thought of everything you may need from q-tips, cotton balls, lotions, and stuff and tons of towels! We really didn't use the kitchen, just the fridge, there are so many great eating places nearby. The location was great close to restaurants, bars, honky tonks and the river with free music on Thurs night. We didn't really hear noise from the alley below, but 2 of the windows didn't face that way and the one that did my sister never complained about noise and she is a very light sleeper. We would definitely stay here again if in Nashville. I won't review each room separately, because they were basically the same. My husband loved the late night hot dogs just a few doors down in the alley.
We rented this beautiful loft for a quick getaway and concert at Bridgestone Arena. The Printer's Alley location is as good as it gets for enjoying the best of Nashville. It's just a few minutes to walk to Broadway and the honky tonks, or to the arena. The loft itself is very nicely appointed and comfortable, upscale but not stuffy. Communication with the Melody was smooth and easy and helped make for a stress free visit, and we were met at the front door with the keys and all the information we needed. What a great place to spend some time in a fun city! We would definitely rent from Melody again on our next visit.
