MY LITTLE FARM COUNTRY COTTAGE

I loved, loved, loved staying on this property. I felt so welcome and hated to leave!
The room was ultra-clean and well-appointed. I didn't want for anything.
The friendly owners grow the most exquisite flowers throughout the property and there were hummingbirds and a plethora of birds, butterflies, dragonflies, etc...that flitted to and fro!
The barn has a menagerie of farm animals that are very docile and love human contact. That was certainly a bonus!
They also have an amazing garden of vegetables that is fun to walk through. I enjoyed picking fresh tomatoes right off the vine and having a great snack. The smells on the property are heavenly, especially when the owners are canning from their fruit trees or garden. My mouth was watering most of the time!
Most importantly, this is a place of peace and relaxation. I loved taking walks around the property and to a nearby canal trail that also unfolded the beauty of God's creation. It was a photographer's delight.
It was also a short drive to the Francis Ford Coppola winery, as well as Korbel, the Russian River and, in fact, all Sonoma County wineries. The best part is you can bring your wine purchase back to the bungalow, sit outside on the lanai or under their spacious and shady weeping willow tree and enjoy to your heart's content.
I would recommend this for anyone trying to escape the city or a busy life. This place is an excellent and ultra-safe environment, perfect for a single person, couple (young or old), or a family with one or two small children.
Oh yes, and the bed...talk about comfortable. Five-star hotels don't have anything on this place!
I will come back to this place again and again. I am drawn to it and I'm happy to know it is waiting for me!
