Why the Owner Chose Asheville: : The house has been part of the family for 50 + years. Terri's grandfather raised a large family on this farm. It was his wish to continue to have horses and family here. He would be pleased to know people can come enjoy what he started. The Unique Benefits at this Cottage: Year Purchased: 2007 - Off the beaten path, yet so close to all conveniences. Nestled in a beautiful valley, horses all around the property. Enjoy nature at its finest, frogs, fish, and occasionally a duck in the pond. Sounds of horses grazing just outside the front door. Only 5 minutes to restaurants, grocery and shopping.

Owner Description/Comments:: Growing up on the original 103 acre farm, Terri has a true passion for what she and her husband of 25 years have ventured into. Though the farm has dwindled in size, Clay and Terri Vick still maintain and operate 17 acres as a horse boarding facility, keeping their own horses as well. Realizing horses were going to be a huge part of our lives we created Willow Pond Stables 13 years ago. Now we are excited to open A Cottage at Willow Pond Stables for others to share our joy in this wonderful place we live.

It was so nice to meet you and we had a wonderful time at your cottage. The horses were great and I enjoyed feeding them the apples. After that they come over whenever I whistled. A very pleasant vacation for our 44 anniversary.
