Great house for large family vacation

We rented this house for 2 weeks for an extended family vacation, consisting of 11 adults and 3 children. The house is large with plenty of space to have privacy when desired, but large areas for congragating as well. This house is really what would be thought of as a beach house - comfortable and casual for the most part. The house has recently been painted inside, the bathrooms fairly recently remodeled. There is no A/C, but lots and lots of windows and a wonderful breeze that is supplimented with ceiling fans downstairs and portable fans upstairs. Some of the furnishings are showing wear and the huge kitchen is in need of some work, especially cleaning out/rearranging of drawers and cupboards and more attention to cleaning details. This really is not an ocean view home as vegetation and houses across the street have blocked all but the tinest bit of view. There is also considerable traffic noise, both day and night, so earplugs are recommended if this would bother you. All that being said, our family had a great time in this house. We enjoyed our granddaughter playing the piano. We watched the Summer Olympics on the large flat screen TV, and there was an additional TV in an upstairs bedroom when needed. Faawaz was wonderful, very responsive to our few requests, helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, and respectful of our privacy. He provides a good sized ice chest, numerous beach towels, 4 great beach chairs, boogy boards, and all the snorkeling equipment you could ask for. If you're a snorkeler, don't miss Sharks Cove and Three Tables. We enjoyed the gas BBQ and the upstairs deck that has 2 loungers and several comfortable chairs. All in all the house is a very good value and we were pleased with our stay - even after 2 weeks, no one wanted to leave!
