RIGHT IN BRANSON 4,000 SQ FT LAKE VIEW HOME ON 2 ACERS WITH HOT TUB!

We were coming to Branson for a small family reunion and were trying to decide whether to stay at a condo-style resort where each family has their own space or to share living space by renting a house. To achieve more "togetherness" we decided to rent one house - but it needed to be large with accommodations for 3 small families plus grandparents. This house did a great job providing all we needed to have a fun and relaxing vacation.

The hardest part about renting this house with a spacious master suite is deciding which sister and her family got to sleep there! The master is on the 2nd floor with a large master bath and a sitting room (with full size futon) between the two. The bath was a little dated but was very large. Unfortunately the hot water in the bathtub did not function while we were there, but we notified maintenance and they said they would fix it.

Speaking of which, the maintenance staff was very nice and available when we needed them, but not intrusive. For example, we noticed a wasp nest in a housevent on the deck and called for assistance. The problem was taken care of that day.

Also, the owners are very responsive and provide great communication before and during our vacation. They called us a day or two into our stay to see if we needed anything which I thought was very very nice.

The mid level of the house contains the most square footage and houses a large kitchen and dining space, a family/tv room and three bedrooms. We had read that the house had 4 bedrooms and 4 baths and assumed that meant a bath for each bedroom. That wasn't quite the case since two of the bedrooms on this level share a "jack and jill" connecting bathroom. The other bath on this level is only a 1/2 bath which is convenient to the 3rd bedroom on this level but the sister and hubby who got this room had to go downstairs to the basement bath to shower.

The basement was the PERFECT place for our little kids to play. They loved watching movies, playing pool, playing board games that were provided and especially loved finding a disco ball that we set up and they had "dance parties" nearly every day. The best part of this space is that it seemed to be sound proof from the main area. So if the kids got too loud we'd just send them downstairs and everyone was happy!

This house is also vey close to the beach, fish hatchery and near Silver Dollar City. It is away from the crowds on the strip, but close enough to be just a few minutes away.
