There is something for everyone within a short driving distance. Beaches, tennis courts, golf within a 5 minute drive. USS Nautilus Submarine, Mystic Seaport/ Aquarium, Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun Casinos, O'Neill Theater, Lyman Allen Art Museum, the famed Mystic Pizza, art galleries, shopping, assorted dining from seafood shacks to fine dining, movie theaters. During the summer and fall there are assorted festivals, fireworks, concerts.

Beautifully Decorated and Clean Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny’s cottage this past October. In addition to being beautifully decorated and clean, the cottage was well equipped with modern amenities. Sunny was a pleasure to work with and left us detailed information for things to do in and around the area. We started most days with a quiet walk down to the beach. We enjoyed the kitchen so much that we ate more meals at the cottage than we initially anticipated. We highly recommend this cottage for those coming to the area.

Christmas in Connecticut

Our family spent Christmas in this beautiful cottage. Sunny was so helpful and even put up a small tree for us. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable for all of us. The location was ideal. We enjoyed many day trips and were also glad to come "home". Sunny was so gracious and easy to work with. She thought of everything and was an ideal hostess. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone. We hope to enjoy it again someday! - The Akins

Beautiful Cottage

We enjoyed our stay here more than words can say. We used to live in Groton and wanted a place to stay that was close to "home". We were near all of our favorite places. Sunny's beautiful cottage had everything we could have asked for. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and is in a perfect location. We plan to come again!!

Second Time Around - Even Better

We can't say enough out Sunny and her cottage. The last time we were here was for US Coast Guard Academy Graduation. It's a perfect location. 15 mins drive easy for all the timelines to meet. All "Bear" families should look into this for Parents Weekend and and other Academy events. We hate to leave after arriving. Five of us stayed her and it is so roomy and comfortable. Both times, we hosted a dinner part for 10-12 and it was perfect. Everyone complimented on how beautiful the house is decorated and everything you need is here, thanks to Sunny. You can even rent sheets/towels, which for us, traveling by plane, was most appreciated. We love the neighborhood, the beach and the atmosphere here. You feel like home or bettter. Sunny is so kind and most helpful with any of your questions or needs and has always generously left us a cottage warming gift. We can't wait to visit again. You will love it!

Perfect!!

Hi Sunny and all prospective renters!
This is really, really worth renting! We were delighted with the wonderfully friendly communication even before we arrived in CT....Sunny is sooo helpful and thoughtful.
We (family of 2 adults and twin 15yr olds) arrived in CT for a family get-together in New London, after a long journey from Germany. We stayed over the Easter weekend 5th-10th April.
We were warmly welcomed by Sunny (yes, we too got the welcome basket with a few necessities and a welcome bottle of wine!)
The house is more than a 'cottage'....its a palace!!! with all modcons and space for more than just the four of us. Its a dream! We enjoyed every minute of being in the house and we will definately be back!
Sunny....as you know we are moving house soon and we have decided to have our new sofa modelled on the ever-so-comfy sofa in your livingroom!!! Being jetlagged, the girls usually fell asleep there early evening!!!
