Beautiful cabin and lake!

My husband, two teen children, and 2 dogs arrived on a Saturday at the end of July after a long drive. We were very excited to see such a beautiful cabin, and, as we made our way to the lake, we could not believe how clear and calm the water was. The lake was deep enough so that, when we jumped off the end of the dock, we were not able to touch. The water was so clear, we could see fish swimming around the dock. We fished off of the dock and were able to catch a few fish, had good luck especially around 6 p.m. There was a deck off of the upper level where we were able to enjoy our coffee in the early morning hours and even saw a hummingbird or two fly around the deck. The sound of the loons in the morning and evenings was enjoyable. We had a wonderful view of the lake from the upstairs and downstairs living areas. The owners provided everything you could think of to cook with, and bringing your own food was truly the only thing you really need to bring. It was quiet and peaceful with no close neighbors, and we truly felt like we had our own slice of paradise for a week! They provided games and puzzles, which I enjoyed during some downtime (love puzzles). I cannot say enough good about this rental - I would recommend it to anyone and already have recommended it to a few friends from home.
