U.S. expat family from Shanghai
We stayed in this wonderful apartment with our three children and grandma for a week. We got exactly what we were looking for, a relaxing, quiet, fun family vacation out of our normal big city routine. Our girls are 15, 10, and 7. We were assisted by manager Aoijai who was very helpful when questions arose. Also, we had her arrange to have a chef cook for us several of our days here. I highly, highly recommend this! The cost was about the same (maybe slightly more?) than taking the whole family out, but the food was amazing. What a treat to walk in from an afternoon on the beach with the kids and smell the food cooking!! There was plenty of room for all of us with my favorite spot being right on the porch looking out past the palms at the Andaman Sea and hearing the waves crash. Loved the whole house sound system! Last year we stayed in a big resort close to here, we all agree that this was so much better! We did not rent a car, but took a taxi a couple of times in for shopping and enjoyed restaurants that came right to the door to pick us up and drop us off. Also, tours will pick you up. We are doing a sea kayaking tour (John Gray's) and they will pick us up. Dont miss Tony's for a sunset dinner! Pool is awesome, saline instead of chlorine. Enjoy!
