Rancho Bernardo Gem

My wife and I recently vacationed in San Diego this past summer and stumbled upon a gem in Rancho Bernardo. The property is simply exquisite, clean, well-maintained, a stone's throw from major freeways and shopping malls. Activities, tourist attractions and restaurants are abundant. We thoroughly enjoyed The San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, Petco Park, USS Midway, and the Pacific coastline to name a few. If dining is your passion, try the Soup Plantation & Sweet Tomatoes, Tin Fish, Elephant Bar, Chicken Pot Pie Diner, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Brett's BBQ, Hodad's, Coco's etc. However, the real gem here is Mike, the owner, who graciously hosted our 2-week stay as if we were family. She went out of her way to make our stay spectacular. From every toiletry known to mankind to ziplock bags for our packed lunches to the chocolates left on our pillows, Mike left no stone unturned. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning soon. Thanks again Mike. We miss ya!
